All had fun!

Knitting retreat with 9 of us. Beautiful house and perfect location. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen.

Best value for oceanfront

House was exactly as pictured. Well stocked with everything you needed. Easy access to the beach and pool/hot tub was still open which was a plus. We were an “older” group and will need house with elevator next time. Hint, hint. Overall we all enjoyed our stay.

Winter Beach Getaway!

This ocean front home was the perfect beach house for both entertainment and relaxation! Our group visited during the OBX off season, so we spent most of our time in the house rather than on the beach. So I can confidently say that the house is lovely! We enjoyed the open kitchen and spacious living room area on the top floor that gave us an incredible view of the beach during the day. In the evenings we hung out in the basement, playing pool and stepping outside directly into the hot tub. We hope to return during the summer!

Great girls’ beach getaway

My three friends and I absolutely loved this house which was beautifully decorated with a well stocked kitchen and Gorgeous beach view. Every morning we sat out on the deck with the high Adirondack chairs, drank coffee and watched the sunrise and dolphins. The living area had very comfortable and ample seating which is where we ended up sitting and talking until midnight. The hot tub and pool table was an added bonus. Thanks Terri for having such a lovely home. Would love to come back again!

Everything we needed

The house was exactly as described and we had everything we needed. Overall everything was excellent. There was an issue that had really nothing to do with the house or the owner (she was fantastic) but the guests prior to us had checked out a full 5 days before we got there. Their dirty linens were still on the porch when we arrived and remained there the entire time. Since the house is rented through an agency during other times, this had nothing to do with the owner who, again, was excellent to work with.

What Vacation Is All About!

Our stay was perfect. The house was exactly as described, clean, fully stocked and plenty of space. We couldn’t have asked for a better weather, especially in the off season. Will be returning soon!

Great Stay

The house was exactly what we needed for our group of friends. Plenty of rooms, lots of space, and several places to hang out. Hot tub was perfect for our cold nights. Walls were kind of thin so we could hear everything going on in the house, but other than that it was awesome. Great views of the beach.

beautiful house & spacious!!

we loved spending the weekend here! there was plenty of room & we loved the large hottub & ocean view!! Our weekend was particular since it had snowed and iced in the OBX the week of our vacation. The owner was easily reachable & sent a neighbor/friend to check on the house for us before our vacation weekend began. When me & my girlfriends arrived for our weekend away, some lights were left on for us as well as the heat was turned on & the home was so WELCOMING to us!! I will recommend this house to stay in the future. It is also very close to some great restaurants & the grocery store!

Had a GREAT time!

Thank you for the lovely stay this home. It was clean, well kept, and GREAT location (close to restaurants, new playground, and right on the ocean). Thank you for updating us before arrival that they upgraded 2 beds to King size and the new updated kitchen! I would stay here again

Nice place!

We had a great new years here. The house is well maintained for its age and was better (overall) than we expected. Super close to some restaurants, jockey's ridge, and grocery. One thing I noticed/appreciated was that the mattresses were a bit better (IMO) than other beach houses. Kitchen is well-equipped, especially if you like coffee and toast. Could use a little TLC to the plumbing to fix some leaky faucets.

Wonderful Holiday

Beautiful Oceanfront Home with PLENTY of room!

Five of us (plus one dog) rented this home for three nights in October 2016 and had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and comfortable and could easily accommodate a much larger group. The house is located right on the Atlantic Ocean so we could see and hear the waves crashing on the shore all day and night... We were there to rest and relax, so we spent most of our time at the house enjoying each other's company or taking walks on the beach together. If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable house that can easily accommodate a large group, this is the one for you!

Fantastic Weekend

This home had plenty of room for our group of 14 women. Our favorite place to relax was on the porch which had great view of the ocean. The large open dining/living room and the many bedrooms/ bathrooms provided us with plenty of space. We found the house to be clean and had no troubles with the home. The group is already talking about our return trip to this house in 2017.

Nightmare

Owner supposed to email door code day of arrival. I was driving in from 5 hours away. Check in at 4 pm, was promised code by noon. emailed from 'on the road' twice trying to get code. Never sends it. So, now here I am, 5 hours from home at a locked house and no where to go. Oh yeah, I had 4 teenage girls in tow, also. You can pretty much guess how much fun was had by all. Owner finally sends an OMG email the next day with an excuse about a vague medical problem. We get inside, and there is no hot water. All of the hot water heaters have been removed. So, yeah, that was a lot of fun, too, with those teenagers I mentioned. He avoids discussing refund of first night' fees (I had paid $300 plus). After several emails and avoided calls owner hems and haws that someone else handles the money and will try to do something about it. 2 weeks later, and no refund for 1st night. The house is an average beach house. I didn't expect much more or less from the property itself (other than having hot water). What I'd be concerned about is the honestly and communication of the owner. Really leaves a sour taste in my mouth when it is abundantly clear that the right thing to do is refund the first night, and apparently Terry is choosing to pocket the money.

Amazing!!

The property was beautiful, clean, and perfect for a big group. We picked this place because it was a perfect for a get away I put together for my husband's chief's mess and their wives (6 couples fit confortably). We enjoyed the place so much, we are trying to make this an annual trip. The Oceanview is spectacular and the big kitchen made it so that we can all participate in cooking each meal.

Great Location

We just returned from a long weekend at this house. The Good: (1)Location is great, within walking distance to Nags Head Pier, restaurants, ice cream, and a mini golf course. (2)Nice grassy area for dogs. (3)Great access to the beach with your own private walkway. (4)House is large enough so that everyone can spread out and not feel like you are on top of each other The Bad: (1)House wasn't as clean as I like. The kitchen counters were not clean, the stove burners were filthy, the grill was disgusting(we did not use at all!!) (2)The couch was sagging and seemed to be broken in the middle, when you sat down you sunk to the floor. (3)The mattress pads were dirty and one of the mattresses had something disgusting on the side. I would stay at the house again - but hoping the owner or management company see's this and does a better job with cleaning. I do greatly appreciate being able to take my doggies to the house and the ease of check in and departure. The decks were wonderful and it was nice having a pool table in the lower level.

Long weekend getaway!

This place is awesome and out stay was fantastic! House is very clean,pool,hot tub,pool tables and very much accessible to the beach.The kitchen is very well equipped,Plenty of cookware, dishes, etc..We had lots of fun in walks on the beach(day/night). We stayed during the July 4th weekend.The fireworks at the Pier were awesome,the view was so good on the deck.It was as if like,someone was doing some special fireworks for us:-). We had a wonderful time here.Would love to come back again!

Beach front paradise

Beautiful home. Beautiful location and nicely kept house. We enjoyed the house, pool and beach. Awesome views. Thank you, we loved every part of our stay. We got to see Dolphins, kids had their own hideout.

Fantastic beach home!

It's always a little scary renting a vacation home in an area you have never been to. This was a wonderful experience with the owners from my first email! The house was wonderful, fully equipped with everything and MORE than you could think of. My husband and I along with our two large goofy dogs abosutly loved this house, the views are amazing and we all enjoyed the decks looking out over the ocean. My parents (70's) came down for a few days as well, and the steps can be a bit daunting for older folks but they absolutely loved the house and area as well. As a large dog owner, I was thrilled that this house was not brand new, It was perfectly weathered and made me fully enjoy my vacation without following my pups around cleaning up after them ever five seconds 😀 it was a nice and easy to clean as well, the vacuume that is there might need to be updated but it got the job done for me. Watching the sunrise and the Dolphins in the water was amazing! Tortugas across the street has very yummy food and it's a fun little bar as well. The beds were perfectly comfortable, we only used two of the six bedrooms so I can't speak for all the beds haha. They had just put in new flat screen Ty's before our stay and that was a great upgrade! The Internet was not working when we arrived, but my techy husband got it to work and the owners seemed pleased that they did not have to have a cable guy come out. The pool was open(ish) but not cleaned yet, so we did not use it, it was to cold anyway so it did not matter to us. We did however fully enjoy the pool deck area and how warm it gets because the dunes brake the wind and keep it nice and toasty! Over all this was a great experience and we would absolutely rent again!! Thank you

Amazing beachfront home

Stayed the weekend in march. Amazing weekend getaway. House has wonderful views of the beach and ocean. All amenities that you will need for a home away from home. Beds were comfortable. Pool was not open yet but did enjoy the hot tub.
