Absolute Sanctuary at Galloway

The loveliest slice of heaven on the island. Nestled in the oak forest, you'll find peace, quiet, and everything you need for the perfect little beach vacation. Perfect host, super clean and modern, kind and friendly neighbors, close access to everything, and a beach right down the road. You won't find a better stay on the island! 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Property was very nice. We ended up not taking our dogs but they do have a fenced in yard. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very nice. The beach was very close but there is a walk from the parking lot to the beach. Get your parking spot early. Not far from Gulf Shores.

Great place for the family.

Thank you for all your help to make our stay for our family just perfect. We loved the location and it met all our needs. The privacy was perfect. We also loved the area to have a camp fire and enjoy laughs. The 3 bedrooms allowed our family to spread out and have their own space. The place was well furnished. We enjoyed some meals out but loved the nights we stayed in and cooked. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

Perfect Stay!

We were so impressed with the property. It was super clean and absolutely beautiful. It’s hard to stay somewhere with a baby on the move, but we were so thankful for the cleanliness and had no qualms about letting him down to explore. Jeanne was kind and compassionate and super quick to respond. Anyone looking for a no stress stay needs to book this property! ❤️

My daughter after prom mini spring break vacation

From the first day I saw your property online I said yep this is it. Everything was perfect you definitely laid it out, the property is its own private area, the pictures don’t even top it for seeing it in person. Makes me want a whole new house. I didn’t leave the house the first night me and Cardi (my shitzu) stay in while the kids took a late night stroll at the beach. Even uber eats came and delivered with no problems. Jenn was very responsive she left everything out I didn’t have any questions nor issues but she made sure she was on standby if I needed anything. Just say my daughter enjoyed her prom mini spring break vacation. The plans were to do everything once we arrived but we didn’t check in until 8:30 that evening so I definitely kicked back like I was at home and enjoyed this beautiful comfortable house felt like my own house. The next day we ate did, some cleaning and check out, was well rested. First we went to the beach stay a hour, then we kick the evening off by going to OWA Tropical Fall resort. Stayed longer than planned we had a ball. And Jenn play a big part in it. Y’all book with her and don’t forget to sign her journal in the living room.

This home is a dog friendly place close to Gulf Shores. The hosts are an absolutely amazing couple that respond quickly and act professionally. Check-in was a bit bumpy as the wi-fi lock died due to the high humidity; a quick call to Jeanne and William and a backup method had the problem solved. They also drove down to replace the faulty lock during our stay. The home has a great layout and big fenced in yard for our dog to relax in the outdoors! I gave a 4-star to cleanliness as there were many dust bunnies under the beds and couch. We laundered the linens in one room as there was dust and dirt in the sheets (most likely from the floor). There is a smell to the home that the owners are aware of and are working on remediation. I would have liked to been notified of this prior to arriving with my family and dog. It really made my husband and I feel stuck and that we didn’t have a choice but to stay. Jeanne and William spoke with us as to the source and gave reassurances that the home is safe. Overall, this home has a lovely layout with beautiful location. It is well stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some - the hosts really thought of everything. Thank you Jeanne and William for opening your home to our family we really did appreciate and respect the home during our stay..

Clean, beautiful home with all necessities. The AC was very cool, which is important to us, and the fenced yard phenomenal. The neighbors are sweet as can be, we were invited to their crawfish/shrimp boil. This place is a must, so close to everything, but in a quiet serene setting.

Hi there! We’re a family from the beautiful mountains of North Georgia who love to travel, explore new places, and spend quality time together. Our hearts are rooted in Southern hospitality, and we’ve poured that same warmth and care into creating a space where you can relax, recharge, and make lasting memories.

I (one of your hosts!) was born in Gulf Shores, Alabama—a long time ago, lol—so the beach has always held a special place in my heart. Whether we’re hiking in the mountains or enjoying sunsets by the water, we believe in making the most of every moment, and we hope our place helps you do the same.

We’re so excited to host you and are always just a message away if you need anything during your stay. Welcome, and enjoy!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This place is more than just a vacation spot—it’s part of our family’s story. I was born right here in Gulf Shores, and this property has been in our family for well over 100 years. Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores hold a special place in our hearts, filled with generations of memories, laughter, and love.

We’ve always cherished the peaceful charm of Fort Morgan, the natural beauty of the beaches, and the slower pace that lets you truly unwind. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, and we’re so grateful to share a piece of that with our guests.

この宿泊施設の特徴

In a town filled with high-rise condos and close quarters, our home offers something truly special—space, privacy, and comfort. Nestled in a quiet area, our property features a fenced yard, giving you room to relax, let the kids play, or enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars.

You’ll have the best of both worlds: plenty of room to breathe and unwind, while still being just minutes from the beach, restaurants, and all the fun Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan have to offer. It’s a rare find in this area, and we’re proud to share it with guests looking for a more private, laid-back coastal experience.
