Lake Front Farm House, Close to UT

Welcome to our 1912 Farm House. Our home was built over 100 years ago but has been fully updated with modern appliances, new flooring and fresh paint. We are less than 10 minutes from McGhee Tyson Airport and 20 minutes to the University of Tennessee. The main floor of the home is wide open and can accommodate large groups. This property is located on Ft Loudon Lake. You can enjoy views of the lake from inside the kitchen or sitting on the back deck. Enjoy a walk anytime down to the water.
The space
Master bedroom: King size bed with luxurious, organic cotton linens, a private bathroom with 2 closets and a 42 inch television with DirecTV. Bathroom has shampoo and conditioner, towels and washcloths.

Upstairs Bedroom 1: Queen size bed and bunk bed that features a twin over a full. The beds in this room have organic cotton linens, closet space and hangers.

Upstairs Bedroom 2: King size bed and bunk bed set that is a twin over a full. All of the linens in this room are also organic cotton. This room has plenty of closet space with hangers.

Main Floor: Open floor plan. You can be in the kitchen and see what is going on in the living room so everyone feels included at all times. Master Bedroom is on the main floor as well as the guest bathroom and laundry room. There is an office space in the mud room.

Kitchen: Fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal, including a full assortment of cooking spices and olive oil. We also have every utensil you could possibly need with lots of cookware to prepare meals big or small. Coffee pot, filters, Keurig, wine glasses, wine opener, 24 inch TV with DirecTV

Dining Room: Pub Height table that seats 6, kitchen bar seating for 4

Living Room: Massaging recliner, sectional sofa, 55 inch TV with DirecTV

Guest Bathroom and Laundry space: shampoo, conditioner, towels, wash cloths, hairdryer, washer, dryer, iron and ironing board and a clothes steamer

The place was fantastic. Great location and gorgeous view. Did a little fishing and relaxing under the pavilion by the water. Very clean and homey place. I will definitely stay again! Everyone agreed we all wanted to take the beds home they were so comfy.

Great place to vacation

Right on the lake with your own dock and boat ramp. Close to restaurants and shopping. This was our second time here and we loved it! The house is always clean and has everything we need.

Loved this home!!

Rented this home for my daughter’s bachelorette trip! The girls loved it and it was the perfect location for everything they did in Knoxville! Glenn, the owner was easy to communicate with! Would definitely stay again and recommend!!

Charming Farm House

The farm house has a great water view and is ideally situated to whatever you wish to do in Eastern Tennessee. It has a down home feel with all the amenities within reach.

Vols Football Weekend

Three UT Alumni and out wives come into town every year for a game or two and look for a place that will comfortably accommodate at least six adults (we sometimes bring our six adult kids with) that is close to UT, but outside of the typical traffic. Lake Front Farm House fit that requirement perfectly this year. It's proximity to the airport was an added bonus. We will certainly be looking for its availability again for our next trip into Knoxville.

Our stay at the farm house in Louisville, TN, was fantastic! Whether you wish to explore Knoxville or spend private time together, you will love this property. There is ample sleeping space for up to 12 people. It costs extra per person, but was well worth it to be able to stay together. This property is located directly on the Ft. Loudoun Reservoir. There is a boat ramp, dock, and pavilion with picnic table and grill. The owners also provide several inflatables and life jackets. (Use caution, however, since there is no beach and it's hard to tell how deep it is straight out from the shore.) There is a deck out back with seating, umbrella table, and grill. On the front patio there are rocking chairs and a double porch glider. Though the spacious kitchen was well stocked, if I hosted a large group again, I would bring extra toilet paper, garbage liners, dish soap, and measurin cups/spoons if planning to bake. There is seating for 10 in the dining area. However, you might have difficulty if you have trouble sitting on bar stools or taller chairs at the counter-height table. There were also folding chairs.There are televisions in the kitchen and master bedroom and a large flat screen in the living room. With wi-fi accessibility to the internet, the streaming options were unlimited. We didn't find many games, but there were several puzzles available. Over all, the owners were easily accessible and most gracious when we had any issues. We would definitely stay there again.

5 stars isn't enough

I'd booked again and again! Very kiddo friendly house and yard (3 &7yo had a blast in the yards ), we grilled amd fished every day and made so many memories. The bed and bedding was better than 5 star hotel, slept very well. Comfortable, humble home, very inviting. Short 10min. drive to Walmart for groceries. Appreciate the open communication with Glen.

The property is beautiful! Very Clean and has everything you need. We were there for a couples shower and spent a lot of time at my daughters future inlaws home, and I so wish we had more time to spend at the property. We would definitely choose this place again if ever in the area!

Glen went above and beyond making our stay comfortable. Communication was great, and the house was absolutely perfect! Very comfortable and clean, and the lot has the most beautiful view. There are several wonderful restaurants close by. We’ll be back! Highly recommend!
