Enjoy the Organ Mt National monument at your door step. This is a private guest house with separate driveway and courtyard located on a private dirt road. This new home borders the monument so you can step out and into nature. There are many trails for biking and hiking. In this quiet location you will be able to kick back and relax in no time. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular and if you are a stargazer you will appreciate being in a dark skies neighborhood.
This home has an open floor plan making it easy to visit while cooking with an island in the kitchen. There is everything needed for cooking at home as well as an outdoor grill. For musicians the piano can be unlocked upon request. At night enjoy the stars while keeping warm around a fire pit table.
Just a few minutes drive to Las Cruces and Historic Old Mesilla. There you will find restaurants, shopping, theaters and our famed farmer's market. If you love wine, you are in luck ! We have award winning wineries here as well. Spend a day on the wine trail sampling wines and enjoying beautiful vineyards finishing the day at an Italian pizzeria in Mesilla.

The home was beautifully appointed in such a lovely setting. We hiked from the front door, lazed on the patio, viewed the stars, and enjoyed cooking our meals. The piano was especially fun to play.

The casita met our needs perfectly; Very comfortable all the way around. The only thing I couldn't find in the kitchen was a cheese grater and a garlic press - but likely because the kitchen was so well stocked, I overlooked them! We enjoyed several days of good weather and great hiking. Would stay there again.

Spent 3 nights here as the culmination of a southern New Mexico hiking trip. The location is ideal fo explore the Organ Mountains and White Sands Great accommodations in a quiet neighborhood with great views Michelle is a fabulous hostess

Great Place

This was one of the nicest rentals we’ve stayed in. Lots of space, clean, well appointed. Views were lovely with hiking trails right outside the door. It was fun exploring the area!

Host interaction was half hearted - we had minimal at best internet…he said it had been slow for the last month…and their on demand hot water system was lukewarm and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. No effort was made to compensate for our inconvenience.

Peace and Serenity

Great retreat from the madness of civilization. We enjoyed our stay very much. I wish it had been longer. Honestly, the pictures don't communicate how lovely this place is. It is amazing to wake up to the sun rising up from the stunning Organ Mountains. Just up the road into the canyon you can hike and enjoy the sunset. Very quiet and peaceful place. Communication with Michelle is immediate, if needed.

Great stay!

We loved this casita - it’s a little out of town (not far at all) but in a dark sky area so you see all the stars at night. The casita is super nice and was set up completely when we arrived. She even has extra toothbrushes, etc in case any essentials were forgotten. Dripping springs is just a short drive up the road. It wasn’t far to get to white sands or any of the other spots we visited. Host let us know about the homegrown show which was really cool. Would definitely recommend and stay at again. Thank you again for the great stay!!

I initially booked for myself, but invited my brother and his wife to join me on my birthday weekend. The location and the property were beautiful. I wish we had more time to enjoy everything this location had to offer!
