Sack Lunch! WITH GOLF CART! Every day is a great day on Dauphin Island!

Sack Lunch!
You will be on Island time once you arrive! You will have access to bikes, paddle boards, fishing rods/gear and kayaks. You will only be a short scenic drive to all the great Dauphin Island restaurants and beaches. A bike ride to the art galleries, putt putt, island aquarium and the ferry. Sack Lunch has all the beach equipment you will need for a day on the waves. There is a golf 4 seated golf cart that comes with the rental that is street legal and is great for getting around on the island. It also comes with a free parking decal for when you are at any of the island beaches so you won't have to purchase a parking pass each day. After a fun-filled day on the sand come back and relax on the porches and the deck , where you can unwind as people walk and ride their bikes down the quite street and always wave and say hey. The Master bedroom is large enough to hang out in when the festivities get a little loud in the living/kitchen area, just in case you'd like some quite time. The back porch is perfect for retreating for a more secluded hang out spot. There are sleeping bags and a blow up mattress for when the kids want to crash in the living room :) So come to the island and make some memories that you and your family will never forget!

This house has everything!!! Very clean and comfortable. There are bikes, fishing poles, and of course the golf cart was a huge hit. Will definitely book this again in the future for a longer stay!

Great house, great amenities. Loved being able to ride bikes to the beach. If youre so inclined its not a ling drive to NoLa for a daytrip. Lots of good seafood in the area. Host is very reponsive and helpful.

My husband and I just retired and we are ready to GO — and this place totally delivered for our early April birding trip. The house is on a quiet side street literally around the corner from several bird reserve lots. Every morning, we were out on the deck with our Merlin ID birdsong app before the coffee was done!The gear situation alone is worth calling out: bikes, a golf cart, sporting equipment, beach chairs and more, all ready to use. How fun is that? Getting around the island without a car was easy for most trips, and fun. Wide bike paths take you all over. Even though we had neighbors close by, the vegetation around the property gave us real privacy, and the empty lot across the street opened things up nicely. There’s a variety of comfy spots on the porches to eat and relax, which we did every chance we got.Inside, everything was just right. The beds were super comfortable, and the master shower with multiple jets? Absolute joy after a full day of exploring. And the beach behind the fort was quite nice — way more spacious and uncrowded than we expected.Our host Chris was fantastic. Quick to respond, and every bit of information he provided was spot-on. No confusion, just a great experience from start to finish.Seriously, if you’re looking for a place that’s perfectly set up for an active, outdoorsy stay — this is it. We loved every minute!

Early graduation present

Our daughter chose the Alabama Shores as her graduation trip. We chose Dauphin Island for its quiet retreat. We had an amazing stay, made a lot of memories and the house was perfect for our stay! Honeymoon retreat

This place was amazing! We loved all the details and the many outdoor entertainment items. We only used the boogie boards but wished we’d had more time for all the other adventures the home owner provided for even more fun in the water, on the island, or even just at the house. Only comment I’ll make even remotely towards the negative is that the listing does sway the renter to believe it’s on the water, but it isn’t. However, we could feel the ocean breeze from the deck the entire time and there were several beach’s close enough to drive to.

This place was amazing! It was very clean, and they thought of everything you might need or forgot to bring. We loved the openness; my 10-month-old was able to crawl around without me having to worry. The neighborhood was quite and safe my 15 year old was able to ride the bikes up and down the street. Soul rejuvenating weekend

I've had more grief in 4 months than I ever thought possible. I just needed me time... My stay at Sack Lunch was everything I was looking for and more. Great communication with host. Clean, accurately described. Quiet neighborhood. Tons of extras. So much so I booked a 2nd trip while staying.
