The Island House on Pine Island with heat-pump heated most privacy pool

Welcome to "The Island Home", a fully equipped private retreat nestled on Pine Island. Wake up to the serene ambiance of our beautiful courtyard-style morning coffee spot to the east, or indulge in total relaxation by our private, fenced, heated pool to the west.

Pine Island embodies the essence of old Florida charm, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Explore the abundance of water activities with convenient docks, boat ramps, and rentals, including kayaks, available on the island. Additionally, there are two Freedom Boat Club locations for those seeking maritime adventures.

For beach enthusiasts, ferryboats are readily available to whisk you away to the stunning shores of Captiva, North Captiva, Cabbage Key, and Cayo Costa. While Pine Island itself lacks sandy beaches, it compensates with unparalleled fishing opportunities and easy boat access to explore the surrounding waters. Although Alden Pines Golf Course is currently undergoing restoration following Hurricane "Ian," golf enthusiasts can still enjoy a round at the nearby Coral Oaks Golf Course, just a 20-minute drive away.

Venture beyond Pine Island to discover charming locales such as St. James, renowned for its Tikihut Bars, the historic village of Matlacha (which is on the mend after the impact of "Ian"), and the pristine beaches of Sanibel and Ft. Myers. For those craving a taste of luxury, Naples is just a short drive away.

After a day of adventure, fire up the barbecue grill, unwind in the comfort of your private pool, and prepare for a restful night's sleep, serenaded by the gentle sounds of paradise. Experience the ultimate getaway at "The Island Home" on Pine Island.

Fabulous accommodation

The house was as listed, beautiful, comfortable and roomy. The bed was just right for us and the office was a nice space for our zoom meetings back home. The pool was a dream, we were in it all but one day. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Angie and Dirk.

Island time is less stressful than zooming around Cape Coral or Ft. Myers. The location of the house on Pine Island is convenient and in a nice neighborhood. The privacy of the house is its greatest plus. The platform bed in the master bedroom is a little low if you have knee problems. A railing to assist in getting in the pool would be helpful. It’s a wonderful vacation place and we plan to go back next year.

Dear Linda Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the neighborhood, and especially the privacy of the house—that truly means a lot to us. Regarding the bed: the platform bed is designed in a more European style, which is typically a bit lower than what you might be used to in the U.S. We understand that this may take some getting used to, especially for guests with knee concerns. As for the pool, we appreciate your suggestion about a railing. At the moment, we’ve chosen not to install one mainly for aesthetic reasons, as we want to preserve the clean and open look of the pool area and the nature of the. We’re delighted that you had a wonderful stay overall and would love to welcome you back next year! Yours Andrea and Dirk

Beautiful home!

We loved everything about our stay here. The beautiful, private, palm surrounded pool/lanai area was just lovely. It was even more spectacular at night with the accent lighting on the palms! SueAnn, the property manager gave us a very warm, hospitable welcome and shared lots of helpful info about the area. She was attentive and available throughout our stay. We felt completely at home here. We look forward to coming back again! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us!

Memories for a Lifetime

Found Bokeelia 3 years ago and we fell in love with the area. So many islands and best beaches. The Island House was perfection..location, the house itself was beautiful and everything to make our family feel home and safe. The pool area was fantastic. Such easy access to waterways and boat ramps. We planned The Perfect Cup and Fudge Factory and a gift of several types of fudge was a great surprise upon arrival. Three hurricanes since our last trip and it was remarkable the progress made. We fell in love with Stumpy the local dolphin at Juggs Creek and we got to see him, just special. Definitely a place we will return to..for many years.

Hello! We are private folks who enjoy the Florida sunshine and all that Pine Island has to offer. From the fantastic restaurants to the amazing boating and fishing, this is our favorite place in all of Florida. Our lovely house has everything you need to have a great vacation! Its one of the few spots left that has that classic island living and island charm that we love about Florida.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The neighborhood is quiet, with easy access to local restaurants, marinas, and shops! As one of the few charming areas not overrun by tourism, this was a perfect spot to experience the historic charm of island life in Florida.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The property is located between two vacant lots for ultimate privacy. On top of that, there is beautiful palm tree growth on the back side of the property which can be viewed from the heated pool and outdoor sitting and bbq area. The open layout allows for lovely days to enjoy the wonderful Florida sunshine. But even when it rains, the covered patio allows for relaxing outside sitting as you wait a few hours for the sun to reemerge.
