Prime location!! Within walking distance of most of DC’s main attractions. If it wasn’t walkable, it was just a quick metro ride away. The apartment was bright, spacious and clean. You also have access to a 24hr gym and pool!! Worth every penny!!

We had a great weeklong stay! Pelican was very attentive in their communication with us and everything was as expected. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were sizeable. A couple of the lamps needed attention but that didn’t hamper us. So nice to have the washer/dryer. Washing machine was very noisy especially on spin cycle but we just made sure to not start it before going to bed. The gym and pool, steam room and sauna were a pleasant surprise. Location was excellent for all we had to do and see. We walked a ton, but commented several times that we could not have had a better spot to visit all the DC attractions. 7th Street is known as “restaurant row” and we had two wonderful meals at Cochina Mexicana and Carmine’s. It’s amazing how a place can feel like home so quickly!Thanks Pelican! Would definitely stay again.

This property is located in an excellent area close to the Mall, Metro, and great restaurants in Penn Quarter. We were in a top floor unit that was quiet with a good view. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was much appreciated across our 3 weeks stay. The hosts were easy to contact and were responsive to maintenance requests. When in the area in the future, I will be interested in staying at this property again.

The property was easy to find, and check in. It was clean and all the necessary items were available between towels, paper products, soap etc. it is located in close proximity to all that DC has to offer, including restaurants, shopping and of course all of the historical landmarks. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. Location was near everything we wanted to visit. Spacious rooms w plenty of closet space. STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL Carmines restaurant across the street was delicious. I’d prefer a dresser in the master bedroom to place the tv on…it’s too low and a challenge to see when resting. Possibly add a few linen napkins for those that choose to cook. Lighting …having lamps only was something we weren't used to. But it worked. The only issue we had was the washing machine. It was horribly LOUD! May need to be looked at. VERY LOUD WHEN SPINNING.

Location is perfect — walking distance to museums and Metro, and we felt totally safe at all times. Tons of restaurants and coffee shops literally steps away. Plenty of space for our family of five, and the washer/dryer was a lifesaver (bring your own detergent). Pool was a huge hit. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic stay at this spacious and pet friendly 2 bed, 2 bath. Check in and parking were perfectly smooth. Super easy with our dog. Everyone was friendly. Beautiful facilities such as garden (even has doggy poop bags), pool and gym. But what can’t be beat is the location. Location, location, location!! 6 minute walk to the mall, tons of great restaurants and shops. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay in DC at this condo. The location was great and made it easy to navigate around the city by being in a safe centralized location. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to others!

Great location

Great apartment right near the National Mall. Great quiet space for our family. Had all the conveniences of home. Wonderful view of the city. Felt safe and close to great restaurants. National Archives just a 3 minute walk. Elevators to 8th floor never an issue. Parking on site. If we come back I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We went to Washington DC and stayed at a pelican 2 bedroom apartment.Having 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms gave us,2couples,our privacy and also being able to spend mornings enjoying breakfast together and nights hanging out recapping our day.Our host was extremely responsive I received either an email or text back within an hour. The apartment was very clean and all amenities were beautiful. It’s in the perfect walking location to all main attractions. There are also many restaurants to choose from within blocks.We are all looking forward to booking with pelican again in another location.I would highly recommend pelican residents.

We stayed here for a week in mid January. On the plus side the property is close to everything we wanted to be close to, very walkable to all attractions. The property was being worked on, the hallways were being either re-wallpapered and / or painted but the inconvience was nominal. The staff and those that helped us were all very polite, friendly and professional and prompt with any requests. The apartment we stayed in did not look like the photos, TBH I would have preferred the wood floors, we had carpeted floors, but the place was clean and quiet. It had two bedrooms, the beds were very comfortable with a blow up third bed which we ended up using the last night. Had we needed an additional bed more than that 1 night I would have gotten an apartment with another bedroom, blow up beds are always uncomfortable and cold. The unit was fairly well stocked, having a washer/dryer and full kitchen was very convenient. The place had huge windows that overlooked the city and we were blocks from the both the arena and the convention center, another big plus. It was perfect for us, with extra room for us to spread out including a living and dining room, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and W/D in the unit. On the negative side, the leather on the dining room chairs was peeling, the kitchen could use a few more dishes, and some counter top stools, none of that was a big deal to us. If we come back I would rent here again!
