2 Master bedroom suites with a Queen bed and private bathroom located in Historic Capitol Hill. Quick walk to Union Station Metro and bustling H St. Near restaurants, nightlife, with easy access to downtown & the National Mall. Stay here to get a local's experience, and skip the hotel room -- you won't miss it!



The Space:

The first bedroom is spacious and bright with three full windows. The second bedroom is also spacious more toward the back of the home, with a some closet space. Both bedrooms have an attached en suite bathroom with a full size shower / 1 with tub. Both rooms have large TVs with Roku (access to Netflix provided). An additional TV is available in the living room area.



Kitchen:

Guest Access:

Guest(s) have access to the entire private English basement rental.



The Neighborhood:

There are dozens of restaurants, cafes, and bar's within a few minute walk. You are also a few blocks away from Union Station. Capitol bike share is located nearby. Walkscore is 94.



Getting Around:

You are within a five minute walk to Union Station, one of the most fully integrated transit hubs on the East Coast. At the station, you have access to:

The parking on the streets is free & unlimited on weekends starting Friday night at 8:30, and limited to 2 hrs on weekdays between 7am-8:30pm. There are most often spaces to be found on my block during the day, and while the street gets crowded at night, there is usually something to be found within a block or so.

The space was very clean, updated and well appointed. Super close to all of the museums and monuments. There was a market close by and places to hang out after a long day at the museums. Keep in mind this is a basement unit so there is alot of movement above the unit and you are sharing a hot water heater so take quick showers.

Overall, everything was great! Location, accommodations, and homey! Upstairs neighbors are early risers. More bathroom towels and a shower curtain would have made the stay perfect. Highly recommend if looking for a spot in a great neighborhood!

This apartment was in the perfect location. It was very clean and comfortable. There were four adults in our party and we had plenty of room to relax. We were able to easily walk to the Capitol and explore the monuments and museums. The metro is a short walk away. The host communicated well, check in and check out were a breeze. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to DC.

Family trip

Trip was good. Was not aware this was a basement unit. Although we were not there much the upstairs was a bit noisy in the mornings. Location was great close to train station.Could use ceiling fans in bedrooms for extra comfort and white noise.Had a lot of communication issues leading up to rental. Not sure if it was a software issue at times I felt like I was dealing with a chat bot and not a real person, it was quite frustrating but a couple of days before checkin everything was good and was in contact with host.

Great location and place. Only issue is the people upstairs can be loud late at night. Manageable but annoying. They were better after the management team contacted them.All said I'd stay there again.

Perfect place. A bit of noise from upstairs but not a deterrent to staying here again. Great area. Lots of restaurants, stores to walk to. Can e walk to Union Station easily

Excellent except for sound from above

Great apartment in lovely neighborhood, walking distance from mall and restaurants. Clean and spacious with good beds, nice towels and great to have two full baths. Only issue was noise of footsteps and particularly a dog from the floor above. Kitchen was adequate, though no stove. Suggest providing a toaster oven. Owner was easy to communicate with and responsive, and graciously allowed us to check out an hour late. I would suggest less emails with repetitive information.

Good location

This was a fine stay and the location was convenient. It could have been more thoughtfully appointed with some instruction for the coffee situation. It only comes with a hot plate. Just a note that you can hear the upstairs neighbors walking and talking. There was a Thanksgiving wreath on the front patio on the ground even though it was December 18th. Nothing wrong with the stay. The communication was great.

Great DC Family spot

This unit was great for my husband and I and our two teen girls. Each bedroom had its own bath and the kitchen was plenty large enough for some quick breakfast and door dash dinner when we were exhausted from sightseeing all day!! Communication with property manager quick and efficient.

Nice property; questionable neighborhood

The property itself was nice. Concern was neighborhood safety. We had asked and were told no issues, however there was an incident on the next block. Would not be comfortable walking to the store after dark; likely wouldn't walk toward H street even during the day.

Excellent, property and location

A very easy and comfortable place to stay. Very reasonably close to the sites. We rode scooters/bikes as well, making it very quick to get around. But we were pleased to find that it is also close to a couple of really great neighborhoods with coffee shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again.
