Family getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Pros and Cons, but we enjoyed our stay overall

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was great, the sunroom was so nice. Beds weren't the best. The grill was on it's last leg and in bad shape, barely usable. Jellyfish were everywhere and my husband and son got stung within 5 minutes of going in the ocean, but that was just bad luck, not the renters fault. Warm waters bring jellyfish we learned. Kitchen was ok, standard rental quality, dull knives an whatnot. Beds were not good, but also standard rental quality. Distance from beach was amazing. A lot of mosquitoes, so sunroom was important. Could use a sprucing up, but not terrible.

Older place with very good private beach access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented in early autumn. Two of us (in our 60's) with our pup. The place is surrounded by pine trees but right on the beach so a short walk through the dunes with excellent beach access. The home is older and has not been updated much. The exterior is shabby in spots. The interior is ok with 4 BR and a screened in enclosed porch. Kitchen is equipped but the overhead light was not working. The beds were just ok. Main living area has a large TV and cable with access to your own streaming apps if you want. Wireless internet worked fine. The two working sliders on the porch had torn screens and were taped but bugs came in at night. Bring your bug spray for the beach and property as mosquitoes are under the pine trees and biting flies on the beeach but expected since it is directly across from the marsh as is all of Broadkill Beach. The closest grocery and liquor store is Food Lion in Milton 15 min away. The Broadkill Store is open in the summer only. We could not use the propane grill as it was in terrible condition and honestly needs to be replaced. People use the grill on beach vacations- we could not unfortunately.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great! Tucked behind the trees you almost didn't notice it was there. The location was perfect, you could enjoy the beach all day from the top deck or walk right out to the beach. The rooms upstairs were comfortable and clean. And the sun porch is a great place to cozy down and relax. The doors are a little tight to open but every house has its quirks. But absolutely perfect hoping to stay again!
