The Olive Shell- condo steps to the beach

Located about 75 yards to Beach Access, this two-story condo will not disappoint when it comes to comfort and convenience throughout. Both bedrooms, along with two full bathrooms, are located downstairs, which means no noise from the main living area upstairs will disturb you when it's time to hit the hay. The main bedroom has a flatscreen TV and an en suite bath with a standalone shower. Both bedrooms enjoy access to a private patio area. Spend fun times streaming a favorite movie on the Smart TV in the living room, located on the second floor. Or pull out any of the board games available and gather at the six-person dining table for an entertaining evening playing games together. The kitchen is fully appointed with all major appliances, including a dishwasher and a convenient Keurig coffee maker for coffee enthusiasts. The condo has washer and dryer and a charcoal grill for your use. The spacious deck off of the living room boasts a nice outdoor dining area for meals al fresco and off of the kitchen is a small balcony with two patio chairs. Stay connected with our free WiFi. We accept pets that are under 50 lbs with prior approval and a pet fee.

Great location!

Perfect location to be outside and at the beach most of the time! The living area / kitchen upstairs was a great setup.

Wonderful stay!

Very comfortable king bed, very well-stocked kitchen with clean, newer dishes, all the kitchen appliances you could need, loved reading their collection on magazines, kids loved the bunk bed, and the artwork was inspiring!

Great location and very clean. I found it odd there was no complimentary items, such as lotion, shampoo, conditioner, etc. provided. Seems like that is standard for rentals.

I appreciate your feedback about complimentary items like shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. At the moment, we don’t routinely stock these and instead focus on providing [other basics, such as paper products/hand soap/fully stocked kitchen , dish soap etc], but I understand this is something many guests have come to expect. I’ll definitely take your comment into consideration as we review our amenities for future stays. Thanks again for the helpful feedback and for being our guest

Photos online make rental appear spacious and clean - it is neither. Microwave oven was rusted and did not work properly, toaster worked once and then died. Whole rental was musty smelling - despite air freshener at entrance. It was dark, depressing and so humid the towels stayed wet. Would not stay there again. We endured instead of enjoyed this rental.

The location of the condo was great, very close to beach access. I arrived late, and it was very dark outside for a female and her young child to unpack her car. Once inside you either went left up stairs to the living space, or straight into the bedrooms. Having a young child, this set up was not ideal. There was nowhere to store strollers or beach wagons. The condo was nice, mostly clean, but very dated. The bathrooms were very small.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the location which is just a short walk to the beach access. There is a covered back patio to store beach equipment. There is a light over the front door which can be turned on. We hope to have you stay with us again.

The llittle place by the sea

Great place, comfy beds, convenient location, has all the essentials needed to make your stay comfortable. Easy communication with Management. One thing to note is bathrooms and bedrooms are down very steep stairs and the entry is also on the lower level. The kitchen and living area, upstairs. If you’re watching a movie or cooking you need to go down the stairs to the restroom. Not for the elderly who have mobility issues or anyone with a physical disability.

The location is great. Easy access to beach. Safe neighborhood. Good parking. Living area is well styled. Kitchen well stocked. Sheets/linens high quality. What made me rate it less than 5 stars: layout of space was not clear unless you read others’ reviews. That is, both bedrooms and all bathrooms (and nothing else) are on first floor. Living area and kitchen (but no bathroom) on second floor. I did not pick up on that when I booked the place for me and my mom (age 83). She had some difficulty with traversing the space and so if you have older family or family with mobility issues, this is not the best choice for you. Stairs are straight and pretty steep to second floor. None of this is the owner’s fault of course…I just wish it was made more clear before I booked. Second issue: the downstairs (bedrooms and bath) are humid. While the space was clean, it’s an uphill battle with humidity in the south, so if you have allergies, be aware. We were there on a weekend in Jan, so can’t say how it would be in other months. Finally, while bedding itself is great quality, the mattress (daybed) in the secondary bedroom was not especially comfortable imo, tho if you prefer a very, very firm mattress it may be great for you.

You will have complete access to this 2 story condo. It features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, back deck, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first floor and the kitchen , family room and dining are located on the 2nd floor. Condo has washer and dryer as well as a charcoal grill.
