We loved the view from the picture window, primary bedroom, and deck. Easy access to the water from the deck. It is quiet, remote (we found restaurants, shopping, and awesome views nearby, too). We get away once a year to unwind, and this was perfect! (Wi-Fi is excellent). Places we recommend (Dolphin Restaurant, Erica’s take out, Uncle Pete’s Market, Freeport, Brunswick, Baileys Island, Boothbay Harbor).

Great beach acess but little kids and the elderly will need watching going up and down the stairs. Lovely and liveable compact house limited parking and the bathroom shower needs an upgrade

Spectacular view! The home was outfitted with everything we needed. All enjoyed the beach and watching the tides come and go. Darci was a wonderful contact and we'll definitely be staying with you again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation home situated right on the water has everything one needs for a great vacation. The place was very clean, nicely decorated and appointed with comfortable furniture. Kitchen was fully equipped. We only needed to bring our coffee grinder. The 3 decks along with picnic table and chairs were perfect for outdoor living. You will have coffee on the deck every morning and then enjoy the sunset at night while having dinner.

This place was the perfect spot for our long weekend in Maine! We had a group of 6 adults and two small children and everyone in the group was enthralled with the breathtaking view from the property. It’s the most scenic spot I’ve ever stayed at. All 8 of us slept comfortably in the 3 bedrooms and my young kids especially loved the bunk bed. I wish we had planned to spend more time at the house and not out and about in Maine but we had a wonderful trip. The only slight criticism I have is maybe better communication about the parking situation/location around the house but besides that it was a perfect trip. The house is on well water which was fine with us since we had drinking water we brought but something to consider as well. Overall I can’t stress enough how great the view, deck, and beach access was at this location. I very much hope to stay here again one day.

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very cute and the view is gorgeous. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we needed a place in the area.

relaxing ocean cottage

My family and I enjoyed exploring Harpswell and getting to know Maine's beautiful mid-coast. The cottage has stairs that lead directly to a quiet, protected beach, where we found sand dollars and hermit crabs. The house is clean and comfortable.

Good stay nice property.

This place is comfy and has a great view. Fees were very high, almost doubling the rental fee. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful view

We had a good time wonderful views of the ocean. Harder to access the ocean than what I thought and living room couches not comfortable . Overall we had a good time ,clean and well furnished litchen

Excellent location, home was nicely decorated.the decking could use some updateing and the 2 smaller bedrooms had mattresses that were terrible,way to soft and no box spring.

Very relaxing with great biews

What a wonderful location with great views. Very peaceful and relaxing. The house is perfect for any size family. You are far enough away from everything to feel secluded, but close enough to everything in Brunswick. Plenty of food options all around on the islands or in town. The views are incredible and our kids loved going down to the water at low tide. We have been coming to Harpswell for years - it is such a magical place! We had an issue where the washing machine ruined some of our clothes and would have liked a heads up that it could have happened, but other than that we had no issues.

Cove Side Vaccination

My family and I loved the cottage and the decks overlooking the water. My grandson really enjoyed swimming in the ocean. The layout of the house was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook and eat with. The views from the living room and master bedroom were amazing! My husband was happy there was an outdoor grill. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting Harpswell again next year.

The home was in a nice quiet area and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was friendly with rental agency, very accommodating. The home does not have a/c, temps were good for our week, it did get a little warm which could be a issue for some during hotter days. We enjoyed our trip to Maine and look forward to visiting again.

Property needs an overall update. Best part of the property was the view. No firepit, curb appeal was nonexistent, washer/dryer down treacherous stairs in the basement, couches need replaced/cleaned. The whole thing needs some huge TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, MaineStay Vacations was a delight to work with. They kept checking in on us, gave us great tips and suggestions. I love the digital packet they sent. A+ and we will definitely be using them for our next trip to Maine.You cannot beat the view. You cannot beat the location. What an easy vacation for our group of friends. The kids just ran on the beach and we could watch from the deck. Two totally different experiences, when the tide was out versus in. Brought floats and relaxed in the surprisingly not frigid water all day. We rented kayaks and they were delivered. Lots of fun exploring the cove. It was really picture perfect.Every day we were treated with a beautiful sunset. Dinner outside every night. We had the perfect celebration for the 250th! Fireworks right from our beach, a great group of neighbors with sparklers for all of the kids, a fire on the beach. We could see 6 different fireworks shows from our deck.The house needs major work. Bathrooms in particular. Not what we expected from the photos. But we just rolled with it and the view more than made up for it. We were outdoors all day and the open dining and living space was a great setting for board games, movies and hanging out as a group.

We observed the hermit crabs and enjoyed the water. We were disappointed that the Adirondack chairs were all broken, but made do with the chairs on the level above.One point though: beware of the step going into the back bedroom. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Thanks for another great stay.
