Fantastic retreat that felt like home

My family travelled to PEI this summer with our two boys and we had the best time. The hosts were so helpful and made our stay wonderful. We made great memories and couldn’t have asked for anything more!

A Fantastic Stay with Amazing Hosts

We recently had the pleasure of renting this PEI property which provided us with an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations. First and foremost, the home itself was impeccable. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by its cleanliness and well-maintained condition. It's not always easy to find a vacation rental that lives up to its photos, but this one did and then some! The spaciousness of the property was a wonderful surprise, and it allowed our group to spread out comfortably. The house was also equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. Whether it was cooking in the fully stocked kitchen or enjoying a cozy night in the living room, we felt right at home. The thoughtful amenities provided by the hosts made our vacation even more enjoyable. The location of the property was another highlight. Being centrally located in PEI meant that we were just a short drive away from all the attractions and activities the island has to offer. It made exploring this beautiful part of Canada a breeze and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Amanda and Stephen's attentiveness and care as hosts were truly exceptional. Beautiful home. Wonderful property. With the added basement room, we had lots of space for multiple families at this property. The outside property is great for entertaining everyone for room to run around, play games, fly kites, fire pit, etc. Its about 35 min to cavendish and 10 min or less to cornwall and Charlottetown. Amanda was very easy to deal with and super helpful. Very quick to correspond. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place!

This was a beautiful place to spend a week away. Very nice property and garden, close to Charlottetown with fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable with our two dogs. We did find there to be a lot of mosquitoes that we are not used to but that was not unique to this particular property. We found this to be an issue many places we visited. This was likely due to the time of year (August) the warmth and humidity with very little wind. Overall this property was excellent and we would highly recommend. We arrived early after two days of driving and the host was very accommodating to us.

Long Creek PE - excellent

An excellent spot and host. Amanda was so accommodating with changed dates due to the pandemic. The house is in a great location with all amenities. Communications were friendly and helpful.

Charming Family Home

This beautiful country home was our home away from home, for the past week, while visiting our favourite vacation spots. The home was spacious and very well kept. The yard was absolutely beautiful with immaculate grounds. The home is set back from the main road so our grandchildren had room to run and play. There were lots of books, games and toys available for the little ones and great “Muskoka” chairs on the deck and in the yard for us to relax in. Stephen and Amanda were readily available to promptly answer any questions we had and make suggestions. The basement apartment is huge, bright and inviting as well. I would highly recommend this property for other families looking for a central spot to stay on the island. Counting the days until our next visit!

Wonderful stay!

This is our second stay at Long Creek house and Amanda & Steve where just the best! Easy booking and very attentive to our needs during our stay both times. The house is so beautiful and comfortable we all loved it so much we have rebooked for next year!

Lovely Stay at Long Creek for Family Event

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Long Creek. Our group of ten stayed a week in the house and there was space for everyone. The house and grounds are beautiful. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Amanda was very responsive to our inquiry about a high chair and dropped one off later that day. We hope to return in the future and stay again!

Great house in a lovely setting

We had a great stay at Amanda's house. It's even better than the photos, and the basement apartment, which we had a peek at, is absolutely beautiful. Amanda and Stephen are great hosts, and we loved how pet friendly the house was, with dog bowls and a lovely large garden, which also makes it very quiet and peaceful. The location is good for visiting Charlottetown, and there are some lovely beaches just a short drive away.

Enjoyable Stay

Beautiful, very clean and dog friendly home located minutes from Charlottetown. Other than our clothes and food, home contained everything we needed for our vacation. Amanda and Stephen were great hosts and helped us locate restaurants, beaches and family activities. We all had a very enjoyable vacation. Restful week in a park like setting

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful home. The house is very spacious and incredibly well-equipped. Everything you can think of, from kitchen gadgets, cooking supplies, beach towels...you name it and it is supplied. The gardens are just lovely: acres of green grass and mature trees and shrubs. We loved the tranquility and spent a lot of time sitting on the deck watching hummingbirds at the feeder and enjoying the surroundings. We ended up spending more time at the house and less time sightseeing because it was so lovely and we wanted to enjoy every minute.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful updated home with everything you could imagine. Breathe taking private property with large campfire pit, hummingbirds and lots of room for children and pets to play. The hosts were so accommodating, friendly and flexible. A definite “go back to again” property.

Beautiful quiet property.

What a wonderful week we had with our grandchildren at this property. The grounds are beautiful, we had a great time playing soccer and campfire nights. The furnishings in the house were beautiful, comfy couches:). A great hangout atmosphere for game night with the family. In all my travels I never saw a house so stocked with amenities in the kitchen. The Nexpresso machine a huge plus! I highly recommend this place!

PEI Family retreat

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! Another person on here mentioned that the pictures don't do it justice and we would have to agree. Extremely well appointed, so much so that you should probably check in and see what's in the cupboards and fridge before you go to the store to pick up groceries or personal items. Beautiful grounds and the back deck is an absolute haven. Extremely comfortable beds in all rooms. Stayed here with our two sons and their girlfriends and there was plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Amanda was great to work with and we greatly appreciated her patience when we were racing to pack up at the end of our stay. We would highly recommend and we will plan for a return stay for sure!

Great house, great hosts, great location

We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We really appreciated how organized our hosts were -- there was a lot of helpful information waiting for us about local restaurants and events, clear instructions on what we needed to do before checking out, and a park pass for us to use. The house is about 20 minutes to Charlottetown, and close to Argyle Shore and some nice parks. A great location for staying with a dog! The house itself is wonderful and was extremely well stocked with everything from towels and linens to cooking supplies and condiments. There is a basement apartment with a separate entrance, but the house is extremely quiet (we never heard any noise coming from the basement), and the tenant was extremely pleasant and fun to talk to when we ran into him outside. Thanks again for a great time! We will definitely consider this property again the next time we travel to PEI.

Peaceful family setting.

Great property and amazing hosts. Everything you need when away from your own home including condiments. Just get the groceries and you are all set. the property is set in a beautiful area on a large piece of property where you can have evening campfires at the fire pit. A BBQ is available and you can use the washer and dryer if necessary. All in all a 10 out of 10!

Great Property in Excellent Location

The property was very well maintained and provided all the comforts of home. The owner provided a national park pass which was a nice touch. Very central location to visit different areas of the island and conveniently close to Charlottetown. We took advantage of the fire pit in the back yard and all the amenities were as described. Would highly recommend this property to friends and family.

Quiet, but near to town

Great Host! She gave us all kinds of local insights. Property was everything described. All the things were there, including things that often aren't, like pods for the keurig. Nice kitchen to cook in. Great deck to sit on. And then when you want a little city life, you could be in town in 20 minutes.
