Perfect Location

Cute spot near hiking and wineries

We only stayed one night en route to another destination, but it was very cute! It had everything you need plus it’s got good restaurants and coffee shops right next door. This would be a great place to stay if you were hiking and going to the nearby wineries!

Stay in Crozet was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. My husband and I attended a wedding at a vineyard that was only five minutes away and this was the perfect spot to stay! Amy was very informative about check in and out procedures. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be repeat customers at Stay in Crozet!

Perfect Place

Peefect location in the center of Crozet above a coffee shop and breakfast diner with an amazing pizza shop and another breakfast place across the street. Easy check in with parking right out front. The unit was clean and spacious and even has a nice little bistro table for those who want to prepare or bring back food for a nice romantic dinner. I will definitely stay again when in the area.

Perfect for a get away weekend to visit with my daughter at UVA

The check in process and communication with the owner could not have been easier. And upon arrival, we were thrilled with the cleanliness and all the fine touches the apartment has to offer. The location was great - Crozet is such a quaint town and close to Charlottesville, but far enough so my daughter could also enjoy a break away from campus life! We'll be back!

Fantastic stay!

This is a great home-base - a number of walkable places nearby, but also so easy to drive further out. The apartment had all the basic amenities and was very cozy. My only tiny complaint was that the sheets were polyester and slid around a lot. But, still so glad I stayed here for my little getaway!

Great location in downtown Crozet!

Place was in a perfect location for food and wandering around. Room was nice, and as described. Clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Scent on linens from laundering was mild but still bothered my allergies. Not their fault, I am just very sensitive. Banana nut bread was a nice treat!

PERFECT location and very comfortable place!!

We were in town for a wedding in Crozet so this location was close to the event plus having the brewery and the Wineries nearby was a definite plus! The owner attended to every detail- water, breakfast breads and had even sent over a list of events in the area. We would love to visit again and would highly recommend the rental. Thank you!!!!

Convenient - Well Appointed

We stayed 2 nights. Check in was very straightforward as was the property description. The coffee shop downstairs and Fardowner’s restaurant were both excellent. We appreciated the amenities in the bathroom - soap, shampoo, toothpaste and anything else a traveller might need. Although we did not bring our dog, there were bowls, toys and biscuits for the canine traveller.

Great for a short weekend with my daughter

The apartment was just right for my daughter and I for a weekend visit. She cam from Philly and I drove from Charlotte so Crozet/Charlottesville was a perfect place in the between. The place was clean and quiet. Finding it and getting in was quirky but not difficult and made the experience feel like a little adventure! We ate at Fardowner's one night and had breakfast at Sway on Sunday am; both had excellent food and great service. We visited some wineries and shopped in downtown Charlottesville and took a nice little trail. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Neighbors can make or break your stay

Two other couples I know have stayed here and enjoyed their stay. My husband and I loved the location, the bed was super comfortable, and overall it met our needs. The only issue (and it was a big one) was the other group in the unit next door. Our neighbors were smoking weed, shouting and partying late on Friday and Saturday nights. It really ruined our sleep both nights. If I stayed here again, it would be if I knew the other group and had confidence they would be quieter neighbors.

Wow! It was perfect..

Loved this loft! Loved everything about it! The owners were kind and let us check in early. They had fresh bagels, banana bread for us. Fridge was stocked with water, oj, milk, sugsr, and coffee! There were soaps, towels, all the bathroom necessities we might have needed.. Such little touches, really made us feel special.The location was perfect. Within walking distance to 3 great restaurants, a marvelous coffee shop, and a grocery store. Loved hearing the train across the way, we ran down to watch it go by.The loft was perfect for us. No complaints!! We will be staying there again, on our next visit jen

Perfect Location

If you want to explore Crozet, this is the perfect place! This apartment was in the heart of town, where you are within walking distance to a handful of restaurants and coffee shops. Not to mention great breweries and vineyards that are only a very short car ride away. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, including a fresh loaf of banana bread waiting for you upon arrival. The detailed touches were appreciated! Charlottesville is only 20 minutes away, which made it very convenient to go catch a UVA baseball game during our stay. Crozet is such a cute little town and so fun to explore, and convenient to everything. This apartment is the perfect home base! Host was very kind and communicative — highly recommend!

Comfy, great location, perfect for a weekend getaway

We loved our three-night stay at this apartment. We wanted to get out of DC for the long inauguration weekend and visit some wineries. The apartment is located in "downtown" Crozet (it's a very small downtown!) right next to a pharmacy, a wonderful indie coffee shop, and a few restaurants. Parking was easy and so was getting into the apartment. The owners had left a gift of some delicious breads for us, which was very nice of them. We spent most of our time having breakfast at the coffee shop, then heading off to local wineries (there are a bunch within 10-20 minutes of the apartment), then coming back to Crozet for dinner. We also drove over to Monticello, which was about 20 minutes away as well. The weather wasn't great, otherwise we would've done more! I would definitely come back next time we want to get out of town - the bed was comfortable, the studio was spacious, and we got to bring our dog. 5 stars all the way!

You had me at the moment we walked through the door

Wow! We want to create this little piece of heaven at our home for OUR guests! The furnishings, the designer linens, the pressed metal ceiling, the ceiling fan, heat you can control yourself, a flat screen TV for the evening news, new comfortable overstuffed sofa and chair, dining table - everything you could want along with lots of floor space so we weren't tripping over each other - all in an historic building with a coffee shop downstairs. Definitely felt as if we were staying in a designer's home. To top it off, Amy had the kitchen stocked with treats for us! We highly recommend. This is a great stop if you are visiting Monticello and/or about to hop on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park , University of Virginia, or the Blue Ridge Parkway. That was our plan and it worked out perfectly. Can't thank Amy enough to answering all questions (getting us the key code again as we couldn't find our email confirmation and we needed a laundromat - which was located next to a great local brewery that hosts a brew pub). Perfect, perfect, perfect.

Charming, comfortable, convenient ... Loved this place, and would definitely return.

My husband and I loved this apartment. It is completely charming, decorated out of "Country Living" magazine. The living space is huge. Bed, couch and chair extremely comfortable. When we arrived, there were two loaves of bread from a local bakery and two beautiful, ripe peaches and water in the fridge. The Mudhouse coffee shop was fantastic. Great coffee and great selections of savory and sweet eats. They also had healthy choices (yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit, fresh squeezed juice). Fardowners, less than a block away had good pub grub (reuben with their own smoked pastrami, pretzel with beer cheese) and libations. A few caveats, but not worth taking away a star: A square, smallish shower, made leg shaving difficult. The kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher, if you're a big cook. It doesn't have a closet ... It had four coat hooks mounted on the wall. Since we were there for a wedding we had some nice clothes that needed hanging. When we asked for hangers, Ross bought some for us, and had them delivered within 10 minutes. Note to Ross and Amy, I think you could easily get a moveable, antique? closet type of furniture piece for people to hang their clothes, hide the suitcase, etc.

Comfortable and Cozy Stay

Communication with the manager was very good and easy. The space was roomy and cozy - I wanted to take the sofa home with me. We definitely would return for another stay while in the area and recommend it to friends.

We are local realtors with our own boutique real estate agency, Stevens & Company. While we have been realtors for quite a while, more than 20 years, Stevens & Company has been in business since 1938. We are happy to be continuing the family business.

We have five short term rental properties in the Crozet area - High Street Cottage, Mountain Suite, Train Suite, Carter Street and Sugar Hollow Outpost. We have several other rental properties in the Crozet area.

We live just outside of Crozet in the Sugar Hollow area of Albemarle County. We live on the Moormans River and love it! Hiking, biking, fishing and more are just outside our front door.

We have four mostly grown children and two dogs (Henry and Lucy) and two kitties (Chester and Lizzie).
