The place was exactly as advertised and was perfect for what we needed. We are a family of five with 3 kids. We were in town for a week for a series of sports events for the kids. The neighborhood was fine (for being so close to a city)... had a public pool less than a mile away that we used one of the days, and a full-size Giant/Eagle grocery store less than a mile away as well. Easy access to downtown (5 min drive or a little over a mile walk).
We were there during a fairly nasty heat wave (90-95 almost every day), and the central air had no problem keeping the house nice and cool. Everything was newly renovated. I have one minor complaint (very minor... I still give this place five stars in every category and would definitely stay there again). And that is, for some odd reason, the bathroom sink of the master bedroom has one of those motion detectors on the sink in order to turn the water on. I found this bizarre... felt like I was trying to brush my teeth in an airport bathroom. Question: If you trust me with every other water source in the house not having a sensor (kitchen sink, showers, etc), why must I keep waving my hand in front of the bathroom sink in order to activate and re-activate it? Seems like a strange choice to conserve water only in this one location. But again, this is a very minor concern. It wouldn't cross my mind to let this one tiny issue keep me from booking this place, and I would strongly recommend it to any family.
