Better than a hotel!

My family loved the comfort and coziness of this condo on a recent long weekend in Steamboat. All expectations were met and exceeded, we would stay here again if we are in the area!

Steamboat Quality

We were very pleased with the condo. Well stocked in the kitchen, wonderful bedding and mattress, easy access to everything. We had two situations to deal with and this condo made everything more convenient. I had fractured my ankle before going to Steamboat and the condo was soooo easy to move around in on crutches, second our two grandsons stayed with us for one night and it was wonderful having beds for them. The bunk beds were a blessing to help their family out when our granddaughter became ill. We felt very grateful to have such a cozy home.

Comfortable, cozy condo near skiing

We had a nice stay here for 5 nights with our two teens. The furnishings were updated with comfortable beds, high end sheets, updated bath and kitchen. The fireplace was cozy and heated the place nicely. The condo was nicely stocked with everything we needed for our stay including dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap (coin op a few doors down), toilet paper, foil, saran wrap, etc. The complex was a couple blocks from the free bus stop, which could take you to the ski resort. It is kind of far to carry your equipment. It is also less than a mile I believe from the resort. We walked there once. Overall, we enjoyed the condo and would recommend it. There are many condos in the vicinity, but many are more expensive, so this was a good location.

Perfect Place to Enjoy Steamboat

My wife and I visited this wonderful condo for a few days of skiing away from the kids. It is incredibly cozy and comes with everything you would need for your stay. The bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of to cook at meal at home. The condo was very warm and we loved getting to relax by the fireplace. The condo is right on the local bus route but my wife and I chose to drive to the ski mountain. It takes under 5 minutes to get to the free parking lot. I cannot imagine finding a better value for such a nice place anywhere. My deposit was refunded the day that I left which has never happened to me on VRBO. My wife and I were sad to leave this nice condo and the town of Steamboat. We cant wait to come back and bring our kids! Thanks Mike.

Comfortable condo, some noise

In terms of amenities, the condo had everything we needed, including comfortable bedding, toys and a high chair for our son, and ample space for our small family. The surrounding area is beautiful with so much to do and the condo was a terrific home base to allow us to explore! The passes to Old Town Hot Springs was a treat, our whole family loved it. The only downside was some noise from the unit above - just usual sounds of tenants walking or running water was audible. We used earplugs and fans and had no trouble sleeping. (We did not end up using the TVs in part because we didn't want to risk disturbing neighbors.) We also found that it was a bit too far for us to conveniently take the bus, but we did try it. The owners were very friendly and helpful, giving us all the information we needed including great recommendations. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

some comments

The unit was pleasant appearing and well equipped. 4 people 3 washcloths, but other than that linen fine. We are average to short people, over 65 . Hard to reach top shelf where items were stored, a foot stool would have helped greatly, then we would not have been climbing on the kitchen chairs to reach. We were aware of the bunk beds but thought that the double would be open, but if so the lower bunk would be difficult to get into. so for young families a nice place to stay, for older people not so,. I did leave a note for the cleaning people as the oven was very dirty. We did not use it nor did we have plans to but still it was obvious that it had not been cleaned for awhile. Also the front burner on the stove was broken we fixed(?) by straighting the prones on the plug in and it seem to work after that but was smoky, from grease on the burner or electrical?? hope these comments are usefull for the owner.

Great spot!

This condo was perfect for our needs - nice space/layout and short drive to the mntn. We worked from the condo and the wifi was fast/reliable. Skied as much as we could and enjoyed relaxing by the fire at night. We'll be back!

Great for a family!

Very cozy and well stocked with the essentials! Good location in town and you can see the sunset from the front window. Very organized owners that have a binder with instructions all typed out as well as recommendations for your vacation. Our boys enjoyed all the games throughout the condo!

Great steamboat condo

We had such a great time. The condo was perfect for a short ski weekend. The location was ideal and the condo had a full kitchen and everything we needed. Would definitely book again!

Nice condo, great location

Clean and well appointed end unit condo. Right next to the parking so it's easy to unload/check-in. So close the the skiing you could almost walk but we did a quick four minute drive to the free parking lot.Check in/out is easy. Overall great value!

We had a fantastic stay here in Steamboat. The owners have made their home very special and we appreciated all of the extras that they provided. The area is quiet and convenient to skiing and downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

We are a family of 5 from southern Wyoming. We make the drive over to Steamboat as often as we can. With college aged students and an teenager we can't get over as often as we'd like, so we are sharing our getaway retreat with others. We keep our place well stocked and hope you enjoy your visit as much as we enjoy spending time in Steamboat!

You can't beat the 'Boat for friendly locals, great shopping and dining, and of course there is the world class powder that makes this place what it is. In the summer it is fun to take the gondola up the hill to mountain bike and fish the Yampa River. Kayaking and tubing are also lots of fun. This place is a lot of fun year round (wish we could live here full time!)

Our place is surrounded by green space which allows for some fantastic views across the valley and to the north. It is a smaller complex that doesn't give the sense that you are lost in a maze as you wander between buildings looking for your unit. It's a friendly atmosphere and is easy to get in and out to access all that Steamboat has to offer.
