This Sherlock/Sir Arthur Conan Doyle inspired house is the perfect home base for your trip to the country. The house is filled with antiques as well as photos and movie posters from Doyles' stories with an emphasis on his mystery, The Hound of the Baskervilles.

The house opens to the Great Hall, with 17 foot ceiling peak and a working wood burning fireplace. Cuddle around its ambiance in Chesterfield sofa and chairs. Books by and about Doyle are scattered around for guests to enjoy on the premises.

Two decks give additional spaces to relax and enjoy great views. The decks have a dual fuel grill, seating for eight and two chaise lounges.

Oak floors, doors, and extensive wood trim bring back nostalgia for the old days. Marble counters and natural materials prevail throughout the house. Starlink is provided.

Kitchen has a 36 inch Kucht gas stove with 6 burners and oven. Enjoy the stainless counter convection oven, and use the Kucht under counter drawer microwave. This a truly a kitchen for gourmet cooking. The dining area has a coffee bar with coffee provided as well as a tea assortment.

Guests will find two cozy bedrooms, each with antiques and a queen bed, plus a billiard room featuring a comfortable sofa bed. The mattresses are made with organic materials. The Hudson bedroom has an antique four poster bed (it is rather high to climb into...) and the Doyle room has a TV with Roku.

The three bathrooms include marble showers/bathtub, making it easy to refresh after a day of exploring.

The Billiard Room has an eight foot Pool Table and a 108 inch projection screen TV. It also has a generous marble bar with a wine fridge. Off the Billiard Room is the third bathroom, and another door leads to a laundry room with sink, washer and dryer for no additional charge.

With heating and air conditioning, the space stays pleasant no matter the season. Whether you’re unwinding in the Great Hall or getting ready in one of the lovely bathrooms, this adorable house offers a welcoming retreat.
