Welcome to Le México, an elegant apartment nestled in the heart of downtown Québec City, right above a lively restaurant-bar. Perfect for travelers seeking authenticity, this unit blends historical charm with modern comfort. It’s a vibrant area, just steps from bars, restaurants, and concert venues — ideal for soaking up urban life while enjoying a cozy, well-equipped space to relax after a busy day.

🛋️ The space
Step into the unique atmosphere of Le México, a spacious and tastefully decorated apartment located in a historic building in downtown Québec. Its original brick walls add a warm, authentic character, beautifully combining old-world charm with modern convenience.

With two bedrooms featuring queen-size beds, a full bathroom with washer and dryer, and an open-concept living area, the apartment offers everything you need. A fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare your favorite meals, while the high-definition TV ensures relaxing evenings in.

🔑 Guest access
You’ll have full access to all amenities in the apartment. The door is equipped with a smart lock using a code. The access code will be sent to you on the morning of your check-in day.

📝 Other things to note
🎵 The apartment is located above a restaurant-bar and next to another bar. Music can sometimes be heard, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
💹 Please note for guests with limited mobility: Le México is on the 2nd floor and requires climbing several stairs. It’s worth it!

Great little place very close to downtown Old Quebec. Very warm and cozy apartment with Tons of character. Close to everything and tons of restaurants. We loved our stay here and David our host was very helpful when needed and fast quick response. You really can't beat this place especially for the price. If you are not a sound sleeper this might not be for you. You do hear a fair bit of street noise and the people above you hear walking all the time especially at 530am when they get up for work. We didn't mind it, it was all part of the experience but if you don't sleep well this might be a concern. We loved it and if we ever come back, we will look into this place again. Thanks David

Our recent stay in Old Quebec City was made truly exceptional by the incredible VRBO apartment we had the pleasure of calling home. From the moment we stepped through the door, we knew we had found a gem, and the location simply couldn't be beat.The apartment itself was absolutely amazing. It was clear that every detail had been carefully considered, creating a space that was not only beautifully decorated but also incredibly comfortable and functional. It genuinely felt like a luxurious home away from home, with all the modern conveniences we could wish for, seamlessly blended with the historic charm of the building.And the area – simply wonderful! Being right in the heart of Old Quebec City meant that everything was literally on our doorstep.

Beautiful, very modern, very central location, just like description and pictures!

We really enjoyed our stay during the Christmas Holidays. We are a family of four (kids 18 & 21), so lots of room for all of us. The location was amazing, right in the middle of cafés, shops, restaurants and bars. The location was ideal for what we wanted, close to all the amenities, even a grocery store just down the street! The reason I gave it a four star, the apartment on top of us was quite loud. You could hear them walking around and moving furniture all hours of the night. There was a bar beneath us, which the music was loud but surprisingly not disturbing. I would highly recommend this location, just maybe bring ear plugs for sleeping.

The property was as described. Location was great, kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable. I just have to confer with another review about the noise from the apartment above us. Loud walking, furniture moving or scrapping often well into the night. I had purchased expensive ear plugs for this purpose but they did not do the trick. Lost more than one night sleep on our vacation. If you are sound sleeper may be just fine. The music and street action was not a problem for us.

Cool Neighborhood

I had a fun time in Quebec. The place was in a good location, and there were interesting things to do nearby. However, the listing was not very clear about two things. One is that the flat is in a building with no elevator, and there is a very steep spiral staircase leading up to the unit. Older folks may have issues navigating the staircase with luggage. And, the shower is in a claw foot tub, which is quaint, but the shower curtain is not set up in a way to stop water from spraying all over. We did enjoy ourselves, and the bedrooms and main room / kitchen are nice.

Resto bar en dessous avec bruit très fort de musique jusqu’à trois heures du matin … et au dessus aussi pour une partie de la nuit … Nous ne sommes pas resté pour le deuxième soir et je crois que nous aurions droit à un dédommagement
