This is a lovely home in an excellent location for downtown, beach and other community interests. I also had excellent communication with my host, who went out of her way to insure I had everything I needed. Would love to return here again and highly recommend it.

Dee was a pleasure - communicative, very flexible and helpful. The home is lovely, in a great location, and had everything we needed. We had fun playing a card game that was available, and exploring Ventura. We saw a show, went to the beach and botanical gardens, and enjoyed wonderful restaurants. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back sometime.

This was our 2nd stay at Purple Moon. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy more. Love the location. Close to shopping downtown. Easily walked both ways. Enjoyed the drinking water supplied. Cooked for ourselves in the kitchen & also enjoyed eating out! Thank You, Dorothea!

Incredible stay! The host was communicative and so kind (from beginning to end of stay). The house is very unique, special, and so charming. You won’t find anything else like it! The home was clean and had everything I needed. The host also added some special touches of having the lighting dimmed when I arrived with soft music playing. The location is perfect - walkable to downtown and the beach - and close enough to the freeway as well. I’ll definitely be staying here again and the host really went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Thank you so much Dee!

Fun long weekend getaway

The cottage is in a very central location on Main St. Easy walk to all of downtown . Owner was attentive. The cottage clean and well appointed.

A Hidden Gem

An excellent place to stay if you are in town for anything on Main st or around that area. Very quaint but with a definite theme to the home. Our family loves staying here.

This was our 3rd time staying at Dee's place, we love it so much. The location is incredible, in easy walking distance of downtown Ventura. The house has everything you need and fits our family of 4 easily, and Dee is so easy to communicate with. We'll definitely be back!

The property is so clean. It's in a perfect location. Close to restaurants, shops, farmers market, movies, coffee shops. The host is very communicative and was fantastic! It was absolutely perfect!

This is the cutest house. It has everything we needed. The host is wonderful, she said she would bring us whatever we needed (didn’t need a thing as she had everything). She even offered to bring us a Christmas Tree!! We will definitely stay there again!

Perfect vacation house!!

Wonderful and charming house. The house, front and backyards are comfortable for relaxing and enjoying family vacation. Exceptionally clean with all the amenities. Great location for walking within minutes of restaurants, shopping and the beach. We had a great family vacation staying here!!

I have another place in Nashville, TN that I love too that I rent out as a vacation rental business. Purple Moon River House. The very best part of this vacation rental business is making people happy and that is what I like to do.

You can literally get anywhere downtown from here. You can walk to the ocean and downtown and you can also go up to the Cross and see the view. Just a great location!
