This area and this house has so much to offer… The home is 1,777 sf. located on 5.2 acres. Three of the acres are beautifully landscaped with fencing. There is 180-degree panoramic views overlooking the Cosumnes River Valley and local wineries. There are beautiful sunsets from this property. You are in the foothills of Placerville’s Historic Gold Country, the 1849 Gold Rush where gold was discovered at Sutters Mill in Coloma. Close by are Gold Bug Mine and historic Hangtown in downtown Placerville. With great Boating, Kayaking, Fishing and Hiking around our local lakes and rivers like Sly Park Lake, Icehouse Reservoir, Union Valley Reservoir, Loon Lake, Hell Hole Reservoir, and popular Lake Tahoe is close by (less than one hour) with the many casinos and many Ski Resorts. George Town and the historic Rubicon Trail are also close by. Drive Mormon Immigrant Trail towards Hwy 88 or visit Apple Hill. There are over 50 Local Wineries, and all are within a short drive away. We are located in between Fair Play and El Dorado wine district. Placerville is close with shopping and dining just 20 minutes away. Or visit the local Bones Roadhouse less than one mile from the house. Sacramento is an hour's drive away. Because of where we are located you might get a glimpse of a Wild Turkey, Deer, Bear, Fox, Skunk, Squirrel, Possum, Bobcat, Mountain Lion. All except the deer and turkeys are very elusive.
