Vintage beach bungalow in desirable Ocean Beach Unit 1. House is one block from the beach on a quiet dead end street. Care free stay for your family with parking for 2 cars. Easy walk to beach, stores and restaurants!

Two bedroom cottage with a queen bed and 2 twins. Bring your own linens and towels. Wi-fi and 2 televisions with streaming only via Firesticks.

Window air conditioning in living space. There is no heating unit in the house. Outdoor cold water rinse off shower and deck with propane grill. Basic toiletries and soaps provided. Kitchen with microwave, stove, oven and refrigerator.

For 2026, rent includes 8 weekly (Sat-Fri) beach badges for OBSC1 (not Lavallette!) providing access to both the ocean beach and the bay beach with playground. NEW FOR 2026, more comfortable living area furniture. Kick off your shoes and relax in the sunshine! RENTAL-25-1469

Easy family get away

We love Lavalette and this place gave us easy access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Amazing bakery just 1 block away!Cute house!

Cozy Stay and Great Location

The property and location for great for both my partner and I. Everything was in walking distance we wanted to go to, with the beach right up the road. The cottage itself was clean, organized, and comfortable to stay in. Kathie was great at communicating answering our questions before we arrived and accommodating our arrival. Would recommend the cottage for anybody!

Definitely Cozy Cottage

Convenient, accommodating, sufficient, clean. If you're going to be out and about most of the time, this is all you need to rest your head at the end of the day. Great price.

Charming cottage

My wife and I absolutely adored our stay at this little cottage. It was the perfect location, right on the border of Lavallette and Ocean Beach. It is a simple but charming space that reminded me of my childhood and teenage years down the shore. It just has that "shore house" ocean smell embedded in it! Perfect for two people or a small family, I highly recommend this cottage. What it lacks in space and amenities, it makes up for in its nostalgic charm. Kathie was an incredible host who was easy to communicate with during our stay. I look forward to my next visit!

Kathie was wonderful, very accommodating and flexible. When we needed to extend our stay, she quickly opened up additional dates for us without hesitation. We were in between homes and looking for a short-term rental, and this cottage was the perfect fit. While minimalistic, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I’d recommend it for one or two guests. It’s a small but charming space. Kathie also checked in via text to make sure everything was going smoothly and kept us informed about important weather updates. She was always easy to reach and a pleasure to communicate with. It was a perfect for what we needed. Thank you, Kathie!

Great location but the bungalow was lacking. Very old, not updated. Furniture was very uncomfortable, I cannot stress this point enough. Way too much clutter and flea market/ curbside finds decorating the place making the place very busy looking and not relaxing (less is more). We were constantly bumping into things, stubbing our toes, stepping on popped nails and worried the floor was going to give out in places. The shower had no light or grab rails. On the plus side, . The owner was very nice and helpful. And the beach was just a short walk away.

House

Small frig that ices up, silverware drawer was a pain in a neck, pots old. Hot water heater was not sufficient last Only one shower.. The porch was old and needs painting. The barbecue was disgusting with grease all over and flamed up .The beds were the only thing that were decent.

We communicated frequently during your stay and we did our best to address any issues you brought to our attention.
