この施設について

Luxuriously comfortable & peaceful getaway downtown Ashland, with views.

Considering the central location of this little gem, it is amazingly peaceful. There is a long driveway that takes you up to the cottage, nestled in trees, with a lovely view across the valley from the balcony, the deck, or the little fenced yard.
Being in downtown Ashland, it is across the street from the Cabaret Theater and a block from Lithia Park, three Oregon Shakespeare Theaters & the Green Show, the downtown movie theater, shops, restaurants, and a comprehensive hike & bike trail system. Southern Oregon University is also just a few blocks away with more art venues to enjoy. Ashland is nestled between 3 mountain ranges also, so there is plenty to explore, including the fruit orchards, lavender farms, and wineries in the valley. After skiing on Mt. Ashland, it is a great place to come back to relax with the fireplace and soaking tub.
NEW: a high speed 50 AMP nema 14 50 FOR LEVEL 2 charging of your electric vehicle is available in the driveway.

Kathy, our host has created a peaceful, clean and comfortable cottage for guests. This is our second year staying here and will always be our first option when coming to Ashland. The cottage is steps from downtown and the OSF theaters. The driveway is steep and there are stairs leading to the cottage. So, you will get a good workout which is good because there are so many great restaurants in town.

We absolutely love staying here. It is furnished with everything a visitor to Ashland might need. From the kitchen to the living space and on to the bathroom, we didn’t lack for anything. It is within walking distance to Lithia Park and the downtown area. We have stayed here three times and look forward to returning. Kathy is an excellent host.

The Carriage House was amazing! Better than anticipated. Super close to downtown, beautifully appointed, and priced really well! We only stayed one night while driving from California to northern Oregon but we wished we had planned our trip so we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a sweet, well provisioned place, close to downtown, with all the theatre within a couple blocks. My favorite part was finding a back trail into beautiful Lithia park. If you have pups, the owner is clearly a dog lover and has made it easy to bring them. Lots of sweet little outdoor spaces. Easy place to spend a weekend. Just right.

We absolutely loved this carriage house! It was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. It has a convenient little kitchen, wonderful soaking tub (and shower). And having two balconies was an added bonus. The views were beautiful! The location was perfect. All theaters and restaurants downtown are within walking distance. We only used our car one time in three days to explore some hiking trails. Kathy is an excellent host, responds quickly, and is just a kind person. We felt good vibes here. We love Ashland and hope to stay here every time we visit in the future!

Born in Duluth, Minnesota. Traveled most of my life. IT work and Teaching. Now retired in the nicest small town that I can imagine with a wonderful dog and sweet playful cat, enjoying music, theater, and art as well as the mountains, with occassional runs to the ocean. I love having guests stay at the Cottage and I enjoy working here and there in the yard.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Everyday, I am grateful that I live in the downtown area of this little cultural town, nestled between 3 mountain ranges, on the southern slope with hiking opportunities beyond the imagination. My very favorite part of this house, is that from June 1 to the end of September, 4 -5 days a week, there is "the Green Show" put on by Oregon Shakespeare Theater. Live music 1 block away outside for 45 minutes. And it is free. And it is an incredible selection of fantastic artists. I love going to a choice of 4 theaters within a block from my house. I also enjoy walking downtown to a restaurant or through Lithia Park to the bandstand or ice skating rink and into the mountatins. Then there is cross country skiing, It is just a beautiful mountin area.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Views, balcony and deck and little fenced yard, heated bathroom floor, fireplace, super comfortable King size bed, location, and the town with all it has to offer, so close by.
