The place was great and the owner was quick to respond and very helpful. The check in could have been clearer. It was confusing to find the door but overall everything was great thanks so much

My impression of it was very good. Unfortunately, because of family emergencies, I was unable to stay there. I definitely won't rule it out in the future.

Pros: nice kitchenette with toaster oven, cutlery, etc. with a kettle and tea bags; working A/C which was critical on the 95 degree days; had a dehumidifier since it was a basement (although it was full when I got in); enough seating options in the living space; ample paper products (tp, paper towels, a box of Kleenex)Cons: I never received any check in instructions and when I messaged in the app and called the cell number and left a message, I didn't get a response. I knocked at the house and a teenager said she didnt have any information but someone would be home "soon". After waiting another 25 minutes with no one arriving, I called VRBO support. I was providing them information when the daughter came home. The mother did take her call--so I don't know why she wouldn't have checked her voicemail when she knew someone was coming in to stay. I waited 45 minutes to check-in (with my car running the whole time since it was 95 degrees outside) after driving 6.5 hours, which was super frustrating. I had an evening event and had to race around trying to get ready since this put me so far behind. I never received any message or apology from the host.It is in a basement, so you need to carry all your belongings around the back of the house and down a flight of stairs. When I got in the shower, there was a huge spider in the ceiling corner, which freaked me out because i didnt want it to land on me. Thankfully, there was a dustbuster that I used to vacuum it and 2 other spider

I'm sorry you did not receive my apology which I did send to your cell. I am also confused as VRBO is supposed to send out instructions automatically. I will look into that. I was traveling and on a cross-country flight and do recognize that I was unable to check my messages which clearly caused an inconvenience and I am truly sorry about that.
