We loved the house. It felt like a home away from home. It was comfortably furnished, well stocked with the basics for what we used it for, which was hanging out and sleeping. We enjoyed the fenced in yard and the screened in porch.The location is primo. Every morning we walked to the Frothy Monkey for breakfast. Later we walked to the neighborhood boutiques. There are many top quality restaurants within walking distance as well. Our dog was so comfortable too! Thanks for having us!

4th of July in Nashville

The house was the perfect size for our short stay! The fenced front yard, enclosed patio and layout of the house made our trip so enjoyable! The house was clean, organized and super cute. Would recommend to others and we would definitely stay here again!

The host described the property well based on what was available, but they did not make clear the entire scope of what we were walking into. So half the house was under renovation, which was fine because we had the number of rooms and bathrooms they described were available for our use. But it was definitely odd when we arrived to see a construction site. The host also left many of their belongings behind including clothes and personal items. It’s clear someone vacated this house for a weekend and it’s not a year round rental. Last, it’s not fair to put this on the host, but there is a domesticated cat hanging on the property with a collar. The neighbors seem to think that the cat belongs to the owner and, in fact, when we ask Matt; I brought this up and he said they recognized the cat, but it wasn’t theirs. This cat literally broke into the house haha and was very clued into how to get in and out. The renovations outside clothing and personal items left behind makes me question if the owner left food outside for the cat while they were gone in a panic move. The experience was a bit strange but overall we were comfortable and location was great. I hope the cat is okay! He was cute and we named him mittens

We stayed at the cottage for about two weeks (with our pets!) while our house was undergoing some renovations, and I couldn't be happier. Check in and all communication was smooth and easy. The house is charming and in a great location. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a true East Nashville experience!
