Welcome to the Shell of Sargasso! This quaint and charming home is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a Topsail Island vacation.

Nestled in the quiet community of Pleasant Cove and surrounded by large, live oaks, you will surely find serenity on the decks of this home. Located just minutes from both, Topsail Beach and Surf City, there are many restaurants, shops, grocery stores and parks nearby. With just a three minute walk to the nearest beach access, you will have your toes in the sand in no time! After a day in the sand and sun, rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower, enjoy dinner at the screened in picnic table and end the evening relaxing on the decks with a good book.

Upon entry, you will find an open living space, kitchen and dining area as well as the primary bedroom. Open living spaces makes spending family time together that much easier! The dining table offers seating for six and is perfect for those family game nights or just enjoying meals together. Three additional seats can be found at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals in including pots, pans, flatware, microwave, oven/stove, coffee pot and more! The outside deck wraps around to the dining area and living area, making it the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee.

The primary bedroom is located on the lower level right off of the kitchen and offers a comfortable Queen sized bed, as well as an attached full bath. Please, note that this bathroom is the only bathroom on the lower level. On the upper level, you will find two additional bedrooms. Guest bedroom 1 offers a Queen sized bed, plenty of closet space and a private outdoor deck. Guest bedroom 2 features two more additional beds, 1 Double and 1 Twin. This bedroom does have a full ensuite bathroom however, this bathroom is the only bathroom upstairs so will be shared with the other guest bedroom.

Pack light for your stay! There is a washer/dryer and ALL bed linens and towels are provided!

(1) set of towels is provided for each person on the reservation up to the max capacity. A set of towels includes (1) bath towel, (1) hand towel and (1) wash cloth.

ISPM also provides our guests with a "Welcome Bag" to help kick your stay off on the right foot. Welcome Bags include a roll of paper towels, a roll of toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, dish soap and sponge. Please, keep in mind that these are just to get you started and are not meant to be enough for a weeks stay.

**Guests will be required to submit valid photo ID, as well as a signed rental agreement within 48 hours in order for the reservation to be considered complete**
**Guests authorizes Inlet Shores Property Management to process a credit/debit card prior to check-in in order to hold a security deposit**
**Guests must be at least 25 years of age**
**NO parties of any kind is allowed on the premises**
**Absolutely NO smoking allowed**

Clean, great location & accomodating host!

Prior to our arrival, we read the review that is posted below ours. We reached out to the host and they were more than accommodating to making sure concerns were taken care of. The deck was newly power washed and we loved hanging out there each morning. The trees provide for some nice privacy and are beautiful to look at. We found the cleanliness of the house to be excellent. The location is ideal, quiet privacy with a two minute walk to the beach! We appreciated the communication received from the host on a few occasions.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Shell of Sargasso Home in Surf City, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The house was impeccably clean and incredibly cozy, making it the perfect retreat for our getaway. The host was fantastic, providing immediate responses to any questions we had, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Fantastic!

This quaint house in a relaxed neighborhood was the perfect stay for my birthday weekend. With just a short 2 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shade for us at home , it made for a great time. We were able to grill out with the the charcoal grill downstairs on the patio, use some spices to cook in the kitchen and had plenty of utensils and plates to use as well. It was easy to clean with the amenities and very comfortable after our Long Beach days. If you and your family want a relaxing weekend right by the beach. This is the place to do it.

A True Gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house exceeded our expectations, the kitchen was stocked and the goodies on the counter was such a thoughtful touch. We expected to bring linens, but didn’t need to. The beds were CRAZY comfortable, and we had way more than enough space for all of us. It was indeed a 5 minute max walk to the beach, incredibly pleasant and easy to get to. We love Surf City/Topsail and have been going for years. This house made this year’s annual trip so enjoyable for us. Special thank you to Hunter who was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay!!! We will definitely look to stay here again!

So Much Better Than A Hotel Stay!

Very cute house. Lots of steps, Closet in Master is locked as an “owner closet” Which is really inconvenient. Especially for two 76 year olds,. Kitchen is well equipped. Inside was very clean and tidy. Outside needs some grooming. Leaves need to be blown out of the drive and patio area. Would stay there again.

comfortable, quiet home near the beach

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this house. It is secluded in a very quiet cul-de-sac and surrounded by trees. The trees provide shade all day long. It's less than a 5 minute walk from the beach with a public beach access point that's perfectly placed. The interior of the home is clean and furnished with quality furniture and a full kitchen. There were pleanty of clean linens and towels. We were a family of 4 and felt very comfortable in this house. We were surprised by the snack basket and basic items like trash bags and kitchen supplies. We had to buy very few supplies. There ae plenty of good restaurants nearby. I loved having coffee on the balcony each morning. Saw deer the first day there! We'll be back! Thanks!

This property is located in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood. The house sits in a cul-de-sac and is nestled among many large live oaks. The beach is just a quick walk away, while restaurants and shops are just a car ride down the street. With the house being surrounded by large oaks, there is an ample amont of shade which makes enjoying a book on the deck that much better!
