Unwind at this peaceful year round cozy cottage that sits far back from the road in a very private and secluded setting. Enjoy a hiking trail from your front door and many more trails in the area with rewarding views at the peak or enjoy the waterfalls near by. Amherst beach 15 min. away can be used by non residents on week days only. You can go to many restaurants in town or stay back and have yourself a barbecue on the grill. Have a night at the Milford Drive In's or enjoy a camp fire with your own fire pit. (Wood is supplied for free) or stay in with the big 55" tv.

Great little, well equipped cabin. Very nice kitchen and bathroom. Good beds and internet. Great value for money. Thanks for being pet friendly. We will have to come back in the Summer to enjoy the outside area!

Family time !!This cozy house has a very nice atmosphere, clean and had everything we needed. My little furbabys also enjoyed the outside safe for my old gentleman . We will be back.

This place was great! It fit our needs perfectly. Kitchen had everything - and fridge even had items for us to use, something you don’t find in every Vrbo property. Host Dan was very responsive to any message we sent. Outdoor are was perfect for bbq and a fire. Would stay here again.

Convenient stay while visiting family in the local area.

Great cottage for my family. It had everything we needed to live for the week we stayed. After i made a mistake for booking, Dan made sure we were all set for payment and it was no problem. I would highly recommend this property.

This was one of the best VRBO bookings I've ever had. Very cute and cozy....as pet friendly as can be....was left wanting for nothing. Dan was extremely accommodating for a last minute change after payments were finalized. Weather wasn't that good so we spent more time at the cottage than we anticipated. Not a bad thing in this instance. The only remarks I'll add are an observation that the tankless hot water system causes the lights to dim in strobe fashion when running hot water and couldn't find instructions for the TV. Not complaints, just observations. Fantastic experience.

Cozy cottage

The location was perfect for us - close to my brother's house for a reunion there. The cottage was clean and the six of us slept comfortably. The drawstring light in the bathroom and step down into the bathroom at night was a bit challenging, but overall a fine cottage.

We had a problem with ck in -- that the host said was VRBOs fault -- it was dark after a long day for us, so it didn't matter whose fault it was, it was extremely stressful. The check in email we received had the wrong address for the property. In addition, while the host has posted a flag at the end of the driveway, there was absolutely no lighting -- if you are coming after dark - beware.

Everything was as advertised. It’s a great little spot. You have plenty of privacy. If there was one complaint that my girlfriend could make, it would be to install blackout shades we found it hard to sleep in.
