Nestled atop Screamer Mountain, Fablewood Cabin combines whimsical charm with modern elegance. With breathtaking panoramic views, the cabin offers a perfect setting for families or friend groups. Its unique design seamlessly blends into the natural surroundings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Located just 3.4miles/9min from downtown Clayton, it provides convenient access to great local restaurants & shops while remaining a tranquil mountain retreat.
The space
Main floor: Fully furnished kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry room, bedroom #1 with king bed, and full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Upper porch with stunning Mountain views, rockers, BLACKSTONE grill, dining table, & patio sofa.
Top Floor: Loft bedroom with queen bed, Bedroom #2 with king bed and twin futon sofa, and full bathroom with shower.
Terrace Floor: Den with electric wood-burning stove, tv, wet-bar, and queen sofa bed. Bedroom #3 with king bed. Master bathroom with walk-in shower & double sinks.
Other things to note
The mountain road is one-way. Drivers coming down the mountain have the right-of-way. Please use caution on curves.

Our three sons & standard poodle Molly keep life interesting and quite busy. However, when given a smidge of free-time, Matt squeezes in golfing with buddies or fly-fishing on the Soque River and Katie enjoys reading British mystery novels, golf-carting, or finding funky antique treasures.
