Samantha was fabulous. The place was beautiful, easy access to everything on Mount. Desert island loved the fire pit for the nights when you came home and still had a couple hours of energy left. The home was super clean, had a fantastic stock kitchen. We would definitely stay again.

The house was very clean and worked well for us (two adult couples). We used the washer and dryer to do a couple loads of laundry and that was great. The house was well stocked with disposable items like dish soap, trash bags, salt & pepper, tea bag, toilet paper, and clean towels. The only things I would change is to free up some space on the kitchen counters. There were canisters and a vinegar and oil set that are not and, I don’t believe, would be used. The secondary bathroom which we used could have had less display items out to make more room for our toiletries. Other than that, it was a great location for us. We enjoyed the quiet environment and our VRBO contact was responsive.

Quiet and nice, well equipped kitchen. Nice beds, bathrooms were a little small and our only wish was there was a dishwasher. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and it would work well for a small family.

This is a beautiful, super clean place. The location is perfect for visiting Acadia NP and surrounding areas. Samantha is just wonderful. Very good communicator. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely rent again.

Everything looked brand new and was attractive and comfortable. Kitchen and laundry room were well stocked with appliances, cooking utensils, and cleaning products.The water pressure needs to be addressed.

Just like the pictures! Comfy beds, plush towels and fully stocked kitchen. And host was a lifesaver - forgot to print pass and everything was closed. Sent Samantha an email at 6:30am - she responded right away and brought us printed pass by 8:30am. That is service!

Lovely stay close to the park

Family stay with my husband, 7yo and 10yo daughters. House was in perfect shape! Host has thought of literally everything for the kitchen. Found opening windows at night preferable to the in room a/c. Easy access to all parts of the island. used the host recommendations for kayaking and bikes which turned out perfect. Loved the Maine State Kayaking family tour- one of the best kayaking guides we’ve had. Host offered very quick communication. Would recommend.

Perfect Place in Bar Harbor!

Samantha is a fantastic host. Great communication, easy to reach. She has thought of Everything in the kitchen, amenities and comfort for your stay. 4 adults were very comfortable. The cleanest place we have ever stayed. It’s quiet and secluded but perfectly located within a few minutes to downtown and Acadia. We highly recommend!

Well cared for, and very thoughtful

Very clean and extremely well and thoughtfully stocked! Beds were comfy. Location was perfect for us. We had a little trouble with a tripping breaker, but it was also ridiculously hot and the portable AC was struggling to keep up. Maybe a non issue other times when it’s not sweltering! No bathroom exhaust fans. Mini golf and Utter Heaven ice cream just a few minutes drive away, and would def recommend.

Family Trip USA 2025

We loved it!! The weather was not the greatest, but we looked at your pamphlets and did sightseeing, bird watching , Lulu Lobster, See the puffins, Went to see the wolves and baby goats, fed both and took pictures. the food was great and the restaurants were from just simple to elegant dinning. Enjoyed the outdoor eating as well. Shopping was wonderful as well. Slept in every morning in the quiet stillness of the forest around us. Your home is lovely and had everything one could want. Could have used directions on how to turn on the heat. But all in all we found everything we needed. You were well stocked! Would definatly come back!!!

Acadia National Park visit

We spent three nights and two days visiting MDI; this property is an easy drive to the park entrance, and to the attractions in Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Somesville and Ellsworth. Extremely clean, with very thoughtfully equipped bathrooms - so many clean towels! - and a kitchen with absolutely everything we needed. It worked very well for two adults.

Perfect place for family of four

We enjoyed our stay in this home. Plenty of towels/linens/blankets during our spring stay. The kitchen was well equipped for making pancakes and eggs for breakfast and making sandwiches for our hikes. While the property is about 10 minutes outside of Bar Harbor, it is centrally located for all of our favorite hikes in Acadia. Everything was a short drive.

Perfect!

The home had EVERYTHING you'd ever need for a great stay plus things you wouldn't even think of. From the beautiful decor , well stocked kitchen including shot glasses for the cold nights around the fire pit to the wood for the fire pit. The home was decorated perfectly. All furnishings were spotless and comfortable. This property had two large screen tv's as well as a full size washer/dryer. You will enjoy this emasculate home with a great location.
