Step out of the heart of the city and into the unforgettable gated courtyard where a Blacksmith Shop from 1890 blends industrial features, modern tech and Hygge design.

HYGGE: Scandinavian art of creating the perfect conditions that lead to cozy and memorable moments.

Gather around the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace to connect, relax and experience the lodge-like feeling in the middle of downtown.

Have a coffee on the roof deck and dining area as the sun rises over the Minneapolis skyline or a cocktail as the sun sets behind the Viking ship of neighboring US Bank Stadium.

The forge studio has a 96-inch TV for watching films or sports, and three of the four bedrooms have their own TVs all signed into HBO, Netflix, Apple TV, Peacock and Paramount+. All you have to do it watch.

The chef’s built gourmet kitchen has Wolf stove, Sub-Zero refrigerator, prep station, wine fridge and high-end cookware to make and serve gourmet meals.

Blacksmith House uses noise and occupancy monitoring software to enforce a maximum limit of 10 guests at all times.

For any event over 10 people, please reach out for approval + event fee.

This is an amazing, unique property with a fantastic host! Nate was very easy to work with and provided everything we needed for our stay. The place had a really cool Vibe and interesting architecture. And you can’t beat the location! We will be back for another visit, that is for sure!

LOVED this property! What an amazing cozy home- and so close to the stadium! We stayed here over Christmas and loved the huge wood burning fireplace and table and kitchen that could easily accommodate us all. Nate was an amazing host- even helping us with some special requests and quickly responding to an issue. We couldn’t be more pleased! And on game day we walked such a short distance to the stadium. Would definitely stay here again.

We were there for the Vikings game and it could not have been a more perfect location! You are literally a 5 minute walk to US Bank Stadium. Great, unique house that was perfect for our group of seven. We had an amazing time.

Wow! This was the perfect location for our multigenerational Vikings football getaway weekend! The property exceeded our expectations and we loved walking to get food, coffee and head to the US Bank Stadium on Sunday. This unique rental had so much room for everyone to spread out and enjoy our time. We had sports going to the TV downstairs and a fire in the fireplace upstairs. Our children battled out their uncle in multiple games of chess and I was grateful the house was stocked with coffee. We would highly recommend this property in downtown Minneapolis for any group!

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and this house was perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready. It was also a great backdrop for first look photos. The groomsmen took photo on the roof top with the stadium as a backdrop. The master was perfect for the bride to dress. Everything about this house was uniquely perfect!The house was well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the bath towels are large and fluffy.

We had the most wonderful weekend at this beautiful location! Our family was visiting from Vietnam, Duluth, Minneapolis, and Pennsylvania. The weather, location, and views were perfect. Nate was wonderful and so accommodating. Highlights were the stunning kitchen and the rooftop with the solo stove. We hope to stay again!

Visited with a group of family members going to a Viking game. Our choice to stay at this house could have been more spot on! It made our trip! House is extremely unique. An experience in and of itself. We will return!

Unique one of a kind Historic Property!

Unique one of the kind property which provided a very memorable stay for us! Custom inside and out with many arches, elaborate staircases, a massive fireplace and stained glass and hand crafted iron work throughout this renovated gated home in downtown Minneapolis! The Kitchen and Bathrooms (love the Bath towels!) were well furnished with modern convenances and the beds were very comfortable. Less than a 10 minute walk to coffee shops, restaurant's and US Bank Stadium! Note: For those with grandparents the steps up to the roof top deck are very steep

Just Remarkable

This house is absolutely incredible. Beautiful and unique inside and out. Amazing location being right downtown (and actually only two blocks to an entrance to the skyways/tunnels that you can walk through in Minneapolis so you don't have to be outside). It's a block and half away from Trader Joe's if you need groceries/supplies. Nearly across the street from the stadium (we watched concertgoers heading into The Weeknd concert). There were five of us (one couple and three other guys) and the spacing of the bedrooms was great. The kitchen/common room was so cool. We spent all of our time there (or on the rooftop deck). Check-in was super easy. And most importantly, Nate was incredibly communicative and accommodating. We were trying to figure out how to host a big event (16 people) and he was excellent in helping us determine what would fit us best. He was always quick to message us back and we got a message the second day we were there asking if we needed anything or if he could be of any additional help. Excellent service! We will definitely be renting this house again when we're back in Minneapolis. Loved this place!

Wonderful downtown Minneapolis home

We had a family reunion here and went to a Vikings game. This is a perfect home for a stay in downtown Minneapolis. 5 minute walk to US Bank stadium, 2 minutes to Gold Medal park and restaurants on Washington Ave. The home is so unique with artistic touches everywhere you look. The ironwork is amazing. There is a living room with large fireplace for gathering, a large dining table next to the gourmet kitchen which has bar seating. The kitchen has everything you could want and all high end. The rooftop patio is great for grilling and informal dining as well as sitting around the wood burning fire pit. And on game day…what a show! We really enjoyed the light modern studio with game table and large screen TV. All bedrooms are nicely appointed and have access to or en suite bathrooms. Nate is a great host and immediately responds to questions. Access and checkout were a breeze. Can’t recommend highly enough if you want to be downtown and walk/Uber to everything Minneapolis has to offer

One-of-a-kind location, first-rate host

This stunning property was the perfect place for our family to gather in Minneapolis for an extended college graduation weekend. We were thrilled to find such a spacious home so close to everything we needed in the city, with off-street parking, enough bedrooms for family coming in from three states, and—especially—a kitchen and dining area so we could spend time together in a relaxed setting. But the photos didn't prepare us for how the combination of this historic structure's wonderful old bones, the more recent additions of stunning metalwork and architectural features, and the current, superbly curated amenities and decor all come together to make a space that's just so easy to be in. There's plenty of common space—including a kitchen large enough for multiple people to help with food prep at once—as well as numerous bedrooms and quiet corners to retreat to when you want to read or rest alone. The gated courtyard with trees, two stairways to the rooftop deck, a book collection to swoon over, a working fireplace for chilly days, all made it an unforgettable place to catch up with family members we had missed!Nate was a great help in our planning. His communication was always very prompt, responsive, and kind. The house guide he shared for check-in was clear and understandable—a real gift for tired travelers.The whole family (19–82 years old) hasn't stopped talking about how much they loved being here together. We can't wait to go back!
