There was 9 of us and we felt so comfortable and at home at toes in the sand. The porch is a fantastic place for everyone to hang out and the beach is right in front. We would absolutely return.

Great location. Newly renovated but some outstanding punch items and a few loose ends. Master suite has huge bathroom and shower but nowhere to put your shower items other than the floor. Kitchen could use more cooking pots,pans, etc. if you plan of cooking most of your meals better bring some of your own. If you have kids bring a beach cart - the one that’s there is about to fall apart. Bbq grill nice and clean but 1 burner is always on- always on high. Really a 3 bedroom. 4th is up a circular staircase in the widows watch with no a/c

July 4th Family vacation

Really fun house in a great location. We made good use of the pool, hot tub and ocean. The house has a lot of beach gear to use which is really nice to have. It’s all a little worn but it all works. The house itself is very clean and roomy. The 4th bedroom on the top floor was really warm and we ended up not using it. We could have if we really needed to but it would have been uncomfortable. The space below the house has multiple hammocks which was a fun space to hang I’d be out of the sun. The beach is beautiful and pool were the highlights. Lots of foot washes and outdoor showers which helped to keep the sand outside.

Toes in the Sand

Perfect location for bedroom community. Not enough towels for the week so laundry was necessary but the dryer did not want to dry the towels so I spent way too much time messing with it.

Toes in the Sand

My family of 6 adults enjoyed our stay at Toes in the Sand. The home is beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for this trip. the private beach makes this a perfect summer vacation home for me. The pics were a bit misleading, however. The 4th bedroom is up a spiral staircase leading to the widows peak and is very, very small. The second bedroom has a AC vent above the bed and it was leaking on my sister and her husband. It was very hot that week so maybe unavoidable. The only room with a TV is the master but that wasn't as big a deal. The owners are wonderful and were very responsive to my questions. I love this house and will try and return next year but a smaller crowd. Anyone would be lucky to snag this for a vacation in the Outer Banks.
