We had a wonderful stay at Darby House! We loved how close it was to Fort Benning (usually 9-11 minutes). It was a quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Also, thanks to Shay for allowing us to use their Netflix account--you have great taste!

Very clean and great space for family. It is half of a duplex but no issues with the neighbors. Very quiet and convenient location. One of the beds is listed as a queen size but was short.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this home to others. The house was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We traveled to Columbus for my son’s graduation from Fort Benning, so this was a very special trip for our family. The home provided the perfect place to relax and spend time together during such an important milestone. One of the things we appreciated most was the attention to detail throughout the house. Everything was well maintained, organized, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We also loved the collection of sticky notes left by previous visitors and enjoyed adding our own message before we left.Check-in was easy, and the location worked perfectly for our visit.Thank you for sharing your home with us and helping make such a memorable weekend even better. We would gladly stay here again if we’re ever back in the Columbus area.

I highly recommend staying at this house! If you are there for Turning Green or Graduation at Fort Benning, it is the perfect distance and time from Benning 15 minutes to drop your soldier at the barracks drop off site. The home is very cozy, all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all utensils and pans to cook your soldier a home cooked meal. The neighborhood was quiet. House was clean and smelled good and was very relaxing. There is a small yard with chairs to relax and even a grill to cook outside. The owner was very quick with communication. We would definitely stay here again!!

The host was welcoming and communicated well. There was an issue at check-in where we were delayed due to the home still being cleaned and was asked to come back at a later time. There was an issue with a leak coming from a light switch on the wall which was soaking the carpet at the front of the master bedroom. The host had a technician out the next day to resolve the issue and it was fixed. The area around the home was concerning at times due to police activity at the house a few doors down, but overall it was quiet.

We apologize for the administrative error causing double booking. Although we have been in buisness for 6 years with an average score of 4.8 on Airbnb, we are new to the VRBO platform. We are in the process of working with VRBO to fix the kinks. Thanks for your patience and interest.

ADEQUATE on SHORT NOTICE

Adequate for one night on short notice. The 150 price is misleading. Our total cost was 355. Neighborhood is modest. General feel is outdated and decor is overkilled. Be sure to read the ample house rules, or the price will go up.On the positive side, hosts were responsive and accommodating.
