The positive elements:Nice neighborhood was quiet and safe. Host was pretty responsive. Near shopping and restaurants. The washer and dryer in the basement worked fine. The AC was nice. The king size bed in one of the bedrooms was quite firm. But two of the four twin beds were softer and more comfortable. There is a sitting area on a small deck in the front of the house, which was nice. No access to the backyard however as there is a house directly behind this one. It is on a corner lot so there is a grassy area and a nice driveway where kids could play outside.Indoors they do have a playroom and a poker table. There is a step to go down into that room. We did not utilize that area. Very cozy carpet in living room and hallway.The negative: We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. Dusty windowsills, and windows. After removing the insert in the first floor bathroom, I had to clean out the tub before it could be used as it was dirty. The closet floors needed to be swept. The bathroom in the basement had a low threshold shower with a little platform you had to step on to get into the shower, but the water pressure was good. The mirror in the basement bathroom was a little odd as after a hot shower the mirror had no condensation ( there was not an exhaust fan) so found that very interesting.Upstairs one of the three bedrooms had a lock on the outside of the door, not sure what that was about, but felt it could be dangerous in an emergency. House is dated.
