Thank you for considering our newly purchased condo for your stay on Tybee Island. As a new rental property, we do not have any reviews yet on Vrbo. However, we want to assure you that our commitment to exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction is unwavering.

We invite you to visit our well-established business, The Mackey House, at www.mackeyhouse.com. With a history of providing top-notch service and receiving 100s of 5-star reviews, we are confident that our dedication to creating memorable experiences extends to our new rental condo as well.

This elegant 3rd-floor condo features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and stunning beach and ocean views. Luxurious details throughout ensure a peaceful and delightful stay by the shore. The Mackey House beach condo features an open floor plan that allows guests to move seamlessly from room to room in a spacious layout.
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a tiled foyer that leads to the "great room" housing the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The living room is equipped with a large television, comfortable sofa, chairs, and glass doors that open to a balcony, offering endless sea views that extend into the horizon. Step outside to relax on the private balcony with ample outdoor seating.

The well-equipped kitchen in this condo is fully stocked with essential appliances, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, juicer, and microwave. Guests can enjoy meals at the bar, which seats four, or gather around the dining table with seating for six.

The Mackey House beach condo boasts 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a king bed, a flat-screen television, and private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom features a double bed with a shared full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. In the third bedroom, guests will find two twin beds. The home also offers off street driveway parking for two cars along with Wi-Fi.

Great mother/daughter trip!

We had a wonderful time at Trey’s condo! Loved waking up and looking out over the water. The condo was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable as well! Would love to stay here again in the future!

Everything in this unit is beautiful from the colorful and beach feel inside to the views and balcony, adequately stocked, only thing missed was regular coffee pot, this unit is single serve Keurig Cafe style, having both would give choice and keep other coffee drinkers happy. Really Nice overall.

Tybee Island beautiful oceanfront condo

The condo was roomy enough for 7 of us, with a teen sleeping comfortably on the couch. We were just steps from the beach and walking distance from restaurants and shops. Weather was perfect for boogie boarding and beach combing.

Nice unit with a fabulous view

The unit is nice, fresh, clean, with comfortable beds. The best part is that the covered deck looks out on the ocean. A breeze keeps it comfortable. Lovely place to hang out and read, relax, whatever.

Sporting event in Savannah

We came to the area for a team sports competition in Savannah and wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle. This place was a perfect retreat for our family. Well stocked kitchen, spacious, very clean. We loved mornings and nights on the covered deck. Minutes to the beach and shops and restaurants. Wonderful place, amazing views, made us love our time on Tybee.

Lovely location, great condo

Perfect! We came for beach time and Savannah history, this location let us have both. Of course, our last night was hurricane Helene, so we probably left things less than perfect (power out), but we’d love to come back!

Great location!

The location is in the heart of Tybee for walking to eat or some local shopping. Great place to see the sunrises and surfing. Great amenities for cooking. Only suggestion, if you like a dark room to sleep in, if you are in the master bedroom bring sleep masks. Quite bright early in the am without a window covering. That being said, GLORIOUS views!

Spring Break Tybee Island

My wife and I stayed at this property during her spring break. (School Teacher in VA) The property is everything it appears to be. Steps from the beach with a very large porch/balcony overlooking the ocean. Morning sunrises were spectacular. Condo is well appointed, modern and extremely clean. The owner (Trey) communications were outstanding and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to Tybee Island.

Last minute beach week

I decided to try to take a last minute beach week trip with my parents and was fortunate that this condo on Strand Ave. had just opened up. It is a beautifully decorated and well kept 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, top floor unit with a wraparound deck right on Strand Ave. facing the ocean. The condo was clean, well stocked with basics and Trey Mackey was very communicative and welcoming. The location is walkable to the restaurants on the south beach, and even to the IGA if you don’t mind a .5 mile walk. The deck is the very best thing about this condo - lots of seating, cushions, ceiling fans, and a breathtaking view of the beach. We saw dolphins swimming almost every morning! Many thanks to the Mackey’s for your attention to detail and your welcoming hospitality.

A little more about us. Our names are Laura and Fred and we were both born in Savannah, GA and were high school sweethearts. Fred served in the Navy and spent many years in real estate. In the 1980s, he and I owned and operated six childcare centers. Today, ABC Childcare is the oldest privately owned childcare business in Savannah. We still own and operate it today.

We are also in the hospitality industry. Like mentioned above, we also own and operate the Mackey House in Savannah Ga. The Mackey House was built on part of my grandfather’s 440-acre dairy farm, inherited in the 1970s. The Mackey House was born when our eldest daughter Tonya got married at our home.

We are very much involved in the day-to-day running of the venue and are often hosting events. If given the opportunity, we look forward to hosting you and creating unforgettable memories during your stay on Tybee Island.
