Excellent and convenient week at the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Cape Charles at Tranquil Tides. Everything was as described in the listing. I liked the close proximity to the beach and the included community pool (best to drive a car to get over there). The community was quiet and well kept with low traffic, which was nice for strolling with kids and our dogs. The kitchen was well equipped and we also enjoyed the screened porch.

We had a great week at “Tranquil Tides.” The house was well equipped with linens and kitchen items. The location is awesome for access to the private beach. Management responded quickly when needed. We had a hard time finding an outlet to charge our golf cart that didn’t trip after a short time, so we couldn’t always use it which was a bummer in CC. We’ll be back!

Family Vacation

Great time and great location. Bay Creek offers extra activities, Beach, Trail, Pools. Beach House was perfect for our family. We would rent again.

Peaceful Location

Loved the house and the town!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely enjoyed staying in this house and we also enjoyed the town! The house was spacious and comfortable, very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. There were even spices and coffees and teas with two types of coffee makers. My family really enjoyed the foosball table, there were new games set out in in the living room, which my kids loved, my husband enjoyed riding the bikes that were in the garage, and we walked down the street to the little private beach every day. The views of the bay from the front window and the crows nest were lovely. The sunsets at the private beach were amazing. It’s a great house that someone has put a lot of thought into! It was also so nice that we could bring our dogs on this trip. The town had a number of cool little shops and several great restaurants. There was a Food Lion close by and the barbecue restaurant near it had good food. The communication with Blue Heron was very easy and Summer answered any questions I had. We would absolutely stay at Tranquil Tides again!

Fourth of July family vacation

Bay Creek is absolutely amazing! The house had everything we needed for the week. Having the cute private beach just steps away was nice. The town goes all out for the Fourth- it was a great time to visit. Grocery store just a few miles away. Suggestion for others: everyone had a golf cart and we thought we could rent one a week or two before our trip but they were sold out. Suggestion for listing/property manager: update listing to indicate that the house has a gas grill, beach chairs, corn hole. These were all great to have during our stay! Also update checkout instructions in the house- some signs said 10 am while others said 11am. I also think we weren’t provided the access code for the gate to enter the community. It wasn’t a big deal- we just called the guard each time and they opened the gate for us. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to visit again!

Nice place for friends to have a getaway

I took notes from everyone who stayed. Here is a summary:Beware of Goathead stickers in field behind the house when walking dogs. They are plentiful in the winter. Leaky toilet that was quickly addressed by the property management but it took two days to fix.All TVs set up with Spectrum cable.Nice sound system with surround sound speakers.Wrap around porches on every level with plenty of Adirondack style chairs for enjoying the sun and fresh air. It has a gas grill, but we didn't use it Bunk bed room on first floor has connecting bathroom, which is nice. The second floor queen rooms have to share a bathroom.Bunk bed: single on top, queen on bottom but mattress is a bit compressed on one side. Needs to be rotated. Didn't sleep well.Decent kitchen with 1 oven, 1 microwave, a dishwasher, and large fridge. Lots of cabinet space with plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, glassware, etc. Wi-Fi had adequate speed for everyone.3rd floor loft was a pleasant surprise. Quiet getaway with a great view, wet bar, and dorm fridge. Living room couch is large and quite comfy.My biggest disappointment: we were not permitted to play The Bay Creek golf course without a significant penalty fee. They required us to pay the Life Center fee which is 75 per day just to get the privilege to play and pay 130 for Greens fees. They pretty much forced us to go back across the bridge to Virginia Beach.
