Secluded and Peaceful

It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever been on. My son, my husband, and my father fished off of the dock the entire trip. They caught fish, sharks, sting rays, crab, shrimp, and even an eel. My mom, my daughter, and myself enjoyed staying around the house relaxing with the prettiest view. Quick two block walk to the beach and easy to get to center street for food. Patrick was easy to get ahold of and was great about giving recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Awesome house!! The layout was wonderful! Great outdoor space ! Everyone enjoyed crabbing off the dock! The kitchen / dining area was perfect size for our family to be able to cook and dine together! Screened in back porch was great for a cup of coffee and the view! Thank you so much!

Hidden Riverside Gem

We've vacationed at Folly since we moved away from Charleston in 1997 and have stayed in many places. Our favorites are on the riverside with a dock as we bring our boat. This was the first time at this property and it was everything we wanted. It was also the most secluded house we've stayed in. There was a 100 yd drive through the marsh woods to get there and then you can't see another house once you are there. I also prefer renting from owner managers because it's so much more personal. Patrick was great and answered my questions quickly.

Perfect for our girls trip!

Perfect property for our girls trip! A flight of stairs outside led to a very spacious house! The kitchen was well stocked—coffee makers, toaster, microwave, etc. The living area had plenty of seating. Four bedrooms and two full baths were perfect for our group. Beautiful screened in porch for our morning coffee! We loved walking on the long dock out to a seating area. And we were only a couple of short blocks to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect property!

It was all about the location

Four ladies “of a certain age” celebrated a birthday and this house was perfect for us. Very private and quiet surroundings. The views from the back porch were fabulous. It was nice be a little ways from Center street and the traffic, but still very close to everything we wanted to do (mostly shopping and eating). Had one minor issue and host was very quick to respond! Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect quiet beach getaway

This is by for the best of everything Folly Beach has to offer. Really close beach access, bust nestled away on the Folly River with the perfect amount of privacy. The home is spacious & & geat for families. great for families. The pier is perfect for docking you boat, gathering oysters, fishing, crabbing, & enjoying the beautiful sunset. I will definitely be booking here again.

Way better than the pictures show!!!!!!

House has lots of upgrades since the photos were taken. Best stocked kitchen of any house rented and I have been renting since 2005! Love that all rooms are on one floor. Take you cast net and catch shrimp off the dock. We took our poles and caught red drum, black drum, trout and whiting! Love the front and back covered porch. Weber charcoal grill was great for steaks. The owners were great communicators- giving reccomendations, fishing advice and just the nicest people! The home is nicely decorated but not overly decorated, so guests have room for their personal items. Oh and the sunsets!!! They are gorgeous!!! Do not hesitate to book this home. You will not be disappointed!

Special place

It is an extraordinary location with great privacy and view. The house has everything you need and more; the dock is very nice, and you feel like you are in the water at the end. I highly recommend it.

Amazing Week!

We had an amazing week! The house was very clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The views from the porch and dock were spectacular!! We had lots of fun fishing off of the dock and watching the dolphins. It was a perfect week!

Fun @ Folly

We absolutely loved the location. Best of both worlds with the river and the ocean. The kids loved the dock, catching crabs and watching the dolphins. My Mom and Aunt had fun bird watching and even added a new one to their list. A couple of blocks to the beach and definitely walkable. Nice, quiet and relaxing stay, exactly what we were looking for and will definitely stay here again.

Great week!

Wonderful week with great weather. House was perfect. We can tell owners have nicely remodeled inside and are working on outside. Great views of the marsh and loved the boat dock. I brought my 23’ Hardtop CC boat and had no issues with it.I had no issues traveling under the folly river bridge.The boardwalk to dock is functional but not for young kids walking alone. We had no issues at all. We hope to book again soon👍

Great location with beautiful scenery

This house is perfect for a visit to Folly Beach! It's tucked away in what feels like a nature reserve on the river side while still only a few minute walk to the beach. The deck extending out to the river is a real highlight and a great spot for fishing, dolphin watching, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Quiet seclusion, still an easy bike ride to "downtown" Folly. The house itself has a nice layout, perfect for our family of four (with a bedroom to spare). The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We hope to stay again on a return trip!

Lovely Quiet Home

Our family of six enjoyed this beautiful home with beautiful views of the marsh and sunsets!! The house allowed us to feel like we were at home and comfortable. We walked to blocks to the beach, which was not crowded like the Pier. The owner provided recommendations for dinner and ideas to explore in Charleston. We will be back and will stay here again.
