Treat yourself and unwind in this tranquil getaway situated just 50 feet from the sands of Lake Michigan. This 1960's quad-level brick home is located in the coveted Miller Beach community within the boundaries of the Indiana Dunes National Park. Just 5 minutes to the South Shore train station and easy access to a community of restaurants, cates, and artistic venues. The home is comprised of 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms, yoga room, large living and dining area, laundry and Internet access.
The space
One fully rehabbed bathroom with steam shower, jets, handheld and rain shower.
Guest access
Main door or possibly garage. Street parking across the street or driveway access through Lake Shore Dr.

Visiting Family

Our stay here was a mixed experience. The positives: •Beautifully remodeled. Photos are accurate *Fabulous proximity to beach, easy walk The negatives: *Property was advertised as having a hot tub, a deciding factor when we booked. There is no hot tub (listing has been updated). *Booked for 9 people. Confirmation email read “Maximum overnight guests: 10” & the listing stated dining seating for 12, leading me to believe that there was flexibility to have a few guests for a trip to the beach. Hours before check in, I received a revised list of house rules stating, “only the parties booking rental are allowed, no parties or additional guests.” This should have been clearer in the listing/confirmation, as I would not have booked this property. *Extra per person charge is $100, not per night, PER PERSON WHO ENTERS THE HOME. *Dining seating is for 7, not 12 *Bedroom 3 does NOT have a double bed. If needed, an air mattress is provided. This is unclear in the listing, & we found out upon arrival. *No sofa beds (only roomy sofas). *5 towels provided for 9 booked guests. *Unfinished bathrooms are adjacent to one another, & the locked pocket door separating them does not fully close, allowing a view of the toilet on the other side. *No paper towels provided *Dilapidated, collapsing property next door, yard filled with trash (not a problem for us, just be aware) *Great deal of expired food in the refrigerator - eggs expired in 2022, mustard expired in 2010, & more.
