Come to the beach and experience all the joys of coastal life at Gingerbread Haus. This classic single-story Tudor style house has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and has been fully updated and tastefully designed. Located in North Manzanita, on Nehalem Road, you are minutes away from brunch at Yolk or spending an afternoon playing pinball at North Coast Pinball.

Host easily or have morning coffee with a good book in the fully updated kitchen and breakfast nook. In the evening, warm up next to the modern designed living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Immediately off the main living area, you can enjoy the conveniences of contemporary family life in the media room with a tv and oversized sofa.

This cottage will keep you cozy in the primary bedroom with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. If you have guests, there are also two spacious bedrooms with queen beds. The nearby bathroom boasts a clawfoot tub and shower for you to wash.

Right off the primary bedroom, you can head outside, look at the stars, and relax in the hot tub. Enjoy a meal at the patio picnic table, and roast s'mores around the fire pit.

A hidden gem in a perfect location

We had the most wonderful time staying at Gingerbread Haus. Everything about the property is thoughtfully curated for a perfect beach stay, and the location is perfect if you are looking for quiet/solitude but easy access to lots of great beaches, hikes and other activities. Highly recommend!

it was great!

We very much enjoyed our stay. it was quiet and peacful and just what we needed. We didn't use everything, but it was nice to have it there if we needed it and next time we will remember our suits to use the hot tub! It was impeccably clean and comfortable and lovely. Thank you.

Gingerbread Haus

The sweetest little house that felt like home. We, myself, my mother and sister, loved the details like the original fir floors, the swallow door knocker, the original windows and the tasteful finishes. The kitchen was fully stocked for whatever needs came up. We all slept soundly in the comfortable beds and appreciated the quiet neighborhood. We began every morning with a walk to the perfect beach. Now we're all in love with Manzanita and can't wait to return to the Gingerbread Haus. We hope to make an annual return.

Our 2nd stay at Gingerhaus

The house is lovely, but… The vehicles go way too fast on the road - creating an unsafe walk to/from beach…consequently not a place where we’ll stay again. Owner might consider getting towels appropriate for hot tub use besides what is labeled for hot tub/beach use. And…adding some lighting along the very dark and narrow driveway…for safety of guests trying to enter and exit. Aside from that, a lovely home.

Beautiful house, relaxing vacation

Our family of 4 (two teenagers) stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. We really enjoyed our time here. There was ample space for all of us to spread out. The house was clean and comfortable. I loved drinking my coffee at watching the mid-morning light streaming through the large windows. The kitchen was well stocked and the host even provided a roasting pan, which was very thoughtful. Cooking in a foreign kitchen is always a challenge for me; but the knives were sharp, there were plenty of dishes and utensils and a lot of “extras” for a rental (good supply of herbs, spices, salt/pepper, dish towels, even consumables like foil, plastic wrap). We enjoyed having a fire and found the fire starters a nice touch. The beds were comfortable. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach stunning. Would definitely recommend!
