Cozy Ocean Front Retreat with Private Beach!

Updated 3 bedroom - 1.5 bath beach front house in desirable Milford, CT.

Master Bedroom overlooks Long Island Sound with picturesque wall to wall windows and vaulted ceiling. Waking up in the morning is serene! Comfortable spare bedrooms - one with two twin beds and a second with a double bed and smart TV. About a quarter mile away from the new 'Tyde at Walnut Beach' wedding and event venue, our home is conveniently located down a quiet lane off a dead-end; offering incredible privacy yet only a short walk or bike ride to shops and restaurants.
Open up the back sliders and step on to our newly constructed beach patio with BBQ. During high tide this patio actually sits over the water! Low tide offers sandy beaches perfect for clamming or hunting for oysters.
Off street parking (can accommodate two cars). Rental comes with kayaks which you can use to explore the coast, or for a bigger challenge paddle out to Charles Island a little over a mile off shore. Explore Milford shopping and nightlife, relax on the beach, or cozy up on the couch with a good movie and bowl of popcorn - make our home part of your annual family vacation and enjoy all it has to offer!

FABULOUS!This ocean front cottage was everything we expected. Clean and comfortable! We enjoyed the sunrise and early morning Beach combing. Definitely trust the previous reviews as well as mine! Communication was amazing !LOVE LOVE LOVE! WE WILL VISIT AGAIN!

This house was exactly as the description said. It met my idealistic “dream vacation” criteria. Beautiful views, right on the ocean, short walk to beach, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable sleeping. Host was very pleasant and even left had written note welcoming us. The extra touches make it special. Would definitely come back!

I intended to stay here for my daughter’s wedding. The house was as beautiful as I remembered. Perfect for pictures! The water views are amazing. Could not ask for a more beautiful location!! Highly recommend…hated to leave!

The house is beautiful and sits on a perfect little beach. The kayaks and beach toys were a lot of fun. Even at low tide, swimming was wonderful.

Unmatched views, nice area

Visiting the area for parents weekend at nearby college- this place was perfect. Views of the sound are incredible and the town and surrounding area full of things to do.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is everything. We are literally close enough to the water to toss a stone into it! It's a quiet, lovely neighborhood, very private and has gorgeous views. The highlight of this house is the master bedroom where we would hang out in the evening and enjoy the ocean. It's a beautiful very large room with huge windows so that you can observe the water. It's also within walking distance of the Audubon center. Thank you to Matt for being so responsive and helpful.

Had a fabulous weekend at this beach cottage. Great location, extremely close to the water, coffee shop, ice cream shop, lobster rolls, boardwalk along the water and of course the beach! Milford is a hidden gem for summer vacation and I will definitely go back and stay in this beach home!!

We have traveled to CT three years in a row, this was by far oir favorite house! We look forward to comkng back. Perfect beach spot, easy walking to ice cream, coffee shop and a few local restaurants! Very clean and accommodating. Excellent views, very friendly neighbors and people walking by.
