Check in was quick. The location was quiet. The host was very helpful when the batteries died in the front door key pad, she stayed on the phone with me and walked me through getting a physical key in order to gain access and it was quickly repaired the next day.

The unit was lovely and clean, but unfortunately the pool was not as advertised. It was a green and full of algae. It was so disappointing as the pool was a deciding factor in our booking. I have a pool at home in Dallas and know first hand that pool maintenance needs to be done every few days. I was advised it was due to a storm. Storms generally do not turn water green unless there is neglect and the water chemcials are off. The pool pump/filter system never once turned on during our stay and the algae was caked-on the steps. Needless to say, we never once were able to swim. Then there was the construction which caused both streets to be closed off which made parking very very tight and cumbersome. The construction noise was so loud and the vibration would shake the house. This was no fault of the host but felt it was the responsibility of the host to advise us of any issues with the property.The kitchen was clean but lacked many basic items needed for cooking. The inside of the unit looks exactly as advertised. The host was very nice and responded quickly. Other than the pool, construction and the lack of outdoor yard maintenance/manicuring, it was a nice stay and would definitely book again despite the slight misgivings.
