This lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath cozy cottage is a great place to stay while exploring the beautiful coast of No. California. The cottage is tucked away in silence interrupted only by the faint sound of the distant ocean. It has a spectacular ocean view surrounded by a peaceful pond, incredible sunsets, lots of trees and wildlife. Sits 5 minutes from Bean Hollow Beach and many others minutes away between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. This cottage is safe and private with beautiful outdoor living.

Beautiful and comfortable

We were traveling with a little baby, and Richard and Melinda were very accommodating to let us check in early. The cottage was well stocked and has a beautiful back yard with a partial ocean view, which was perfect for the dogs to roam around. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and felt comfortable.

Beautiful cottage along the California coast

We enjoyed this well-loved cottage for our family’s spring break. The home was comfortable and sweet. The kitchen was easy to use and well-stocked. The hosts were communicative and helpful. Mostly, I loved the garden and the ocean views. It’s was a beautiful place to relax.

A most excellent guesthouse with great amenities and fixings. plenty of privacy with ocean views and flora and fauna, and there’s a pond.the back patio and yard is the only place you’ll wanna be during the day and it’s cozy and comfortable inside. lucked out with a clear , warm night and there was star gazing from a wonderful hammock on the patio as well. Kitchen is well stocked. no way to go wrong here,

Beautiful place to stay

I was there for a few days to get out of town and looking for a quiet spot to relax, this was the perfect place for that. Beautiful, clean and a very well stocked kitchen. Very quiet place that was absolutely lovely and convenient to beaches and the town. The only thing to mention is that the internet would go out every once in a while, it wasn't an issue for me at all, but just a note if that's important.The property is really well maintained and sitting out by the pond in the morning or watching the sunset was a really special experience. If you have a dog(s) the backyard area is really well fenced in. I hope to stay again in the future.

Excellent place to recharge

This is a place to go to, stay in and recharge. Surrounded with beautiful nature, fresh air, views! My dog is ecstatic every time we visit. Bright safe cottage with everything I need inside, actually comfortable furniture. This is not your average bedroom rental you travel from to see places around. The only thing I missed was my yoga mat…next time!

Serene and delightful cottage

We had a wonderful time in this delightful cottage. The cottage itself was well appointed with everything needed. And the outdoors was perfect, the deck, the yard, the pond, the brook etc. Our normally anxious dog had a great time. And the location, with ocean views, is perfect to disconnect from the world and reconnect with ourselves. It’s walking distance to the beach, and short 2mi drive to downtown pescadero with a small grocery store and tavern. Overall, it’s a perfect location and we will be back.

Peaceful cottage minutes from the beach : )

We stayed with our 2 young boys & we all enjoyed the property. We loved our trip to Ano Nuevo state park to view the elephant seals, and sunset at Bean Hollow beach is perfect. The cottage is clean & the beds are comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen & the outdoor space is lovely. We even had the luck of viewing a great heron near the pond! The hosts are very responsive, yet offer the utmost privacy. We will be back! Thank you!!

Beautiful and charming!

This is one of the most peaceful vacations I’ve had in years. The property is secluded. From the back deck, you can watch quail, hummingbirds and butterflies—we even saw a heron several times! The many flowers in the yard are so beautiful! And there is a pond in back with a fountain in the middle; it even lights up at night!! The home is impeccably appointed, and has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. And I want to buy a bed like the ones in the cottage—soooo comfortable! A true gem.

Wonderful Property

We had an amazing stay at Bean Hollow Cottage. The property was modern, clean, spacious, with all the amenities and items provided, plus beautiful backyard with pond and ocean view. Loved how they fenced in backyard to allow pups to roam. It was close to the beach and got to explore downtown Pescadero and only a short drive to downtown Half Moon Bay. Melinda and Rick were wonderful hosts and we can’t wait to go back!
