Things to Know


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great and easy house, spacious, 2min walk to the beach down the road, big back and front porches, kitchen is extremely well stocked, bedrooms are missing hangers and/or dressers, but other than that it really has everything you need. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to be back!

Loved our stay!

We really enjoyed this house. The setup was perfect for us and our grown children each with significant others. The living room was large with lots of seating, and we really enjoyed hanging out there in the evenings. Extremely well stocked kitchen which was great for us since we like to cook our own dinners. The kitchen is much larger than it appears in the photos. Loved the large island. I could cook and still talk with everyone. Yes, the cabinets are older but there are sooo many of them we didn't have any trouble finding places to store stuff. Loved the back deck as well. Great location! It was a very short walk to the beach near the river end of the island. Bike path was right there...nice quiet neighborhood. Even though the weather wasn't super great the week we were there we just loved the house. We could all be together without being on top of each other but also each had our own rooms. Highly recommend and would stay there again. We usually go to Edisto at least once per year and are already thinking about renting this house again next summer!

Golf carts are ok for this rental home.

We almost didn't rent this home because of being able to rent and charge a golf cart at the home. However, since I was familiar with the island and where the house is located I knew we would be able to. The house had some issues prior to our arrival (issues with a/c, and the dryer) but those were fixed shortly after our arrival. The house is very homey and all of the beds we're very comfortable. My family and I will definitely rent this home again.

October family trip

This house was just right for our family. We enjoyed the open living room and kitchen area. The front and back porches were awesome! We also loved the close proximity to the beach. The only thing I would recommend is maybe getting some blinds for the living room. Overall it was a great house!!

Great location to the beach, access very close by! We enjoyed the location. Overall house was good, I would just recommend updating the showers! Needs an outdoor shower too (closed in)!

Great house and location

We had a wonderful week! The kitchen has all the cookware, utensils, etc. you need. They even have a crock pot which you don’t see much in rentals. We loved the open floor plan. The covered front porch was perfect to sit on in the evenings and watch the people go by. We even had a family of deer visit us a few nights. The beds are very comfy and I love that the bedrooms have full length mirrors. We also liked that we were only two blocks from Whaleys, one of our favorite Edisto restaurants.
