Get ready to unwind & relax in Edisto. Located on the Plantation Golf Course, this house boasts charming nature views of the 16th hole. Perfect for a romantic couples retreat, but also large enough to accommodate a family (or two!). The Blue Grotto offers WIFI, smart TVs in all bedrooms, a full kitchen, W/D and a gas grill. There is a private screened in porch area off of the primary suite - the perfect place to have your coffee or beverage of choice as you watch the golfers putt!

Just a short walk or bike ride to the beach! Close to The Water's Edge cafe, bike rentals, putt putt, and one of the best restaurants on the island - Ella & Ollie's.

We cannot wait to come back and have already booked to stay again in June! This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend and is conveniently located to the golf course and restaurants we tried out. Can’t wait to visit in the summer!

Great layout and mbr and bath were fantastic in size and luxury. The dining room view was outstanding and we very much enjoyed the screen porch.

Great pet friendly weekend getaway

The cabin was just what we needed for three adults and one dog. The neighborhood is very walkable and a short drive to the beach. The owners were very responsive to text messages and questions.

Edisto was beautiful

The location is great with fresh seafood, bike rentals, and paddle boarding right across the street from the property. The house is beachy with a sun room facing the east. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved Edisto!

We really enjoyed our stay in Edisto. The Blue Grotto was the perfect size for myself and husband. The property was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. The hostess was quick to respond to any of our questions/needs. Highly recommend!

Sweet Retreat

The cottage was a sweet retreat for us. We were returning to Edisto after having been away for a few years. This was the perfect place to call home base. Only needed to add the groceries as the kitchen was well stocked with everything else we needed. Great home for larger families 5 - 7 too. Comfortable beds. Evenings brought the deer out to feed and we had an Awesome view of the birds from the large dining area. We really enjoyed our visit!

Edisto Escape!

Soooo close to everything needed - seafood, bikes, park, beach access 35 and 21, pathways and amazing restaurants. House has large open kitchen and outdoor gas grill for family cooking. Ladder steps to loft are steep but great for tweens/teens. Beautiful views from screen porch. Bring cash, sunscreen and bug spray for Edisto!

Not quite ‘there’ yet

This little cottage has been updated in a very nice way on the inside. There are some things lacking that made our stay more challenging than it needed to be, though. *broom but no dustpan *lots of flies but no swatted *no hangers in any closet *only a small single serve Kerrigans for making coffee one cup at a time. Additionally, the outside of the cottage is in very poor condition. It needs to be brought up to the Reno status of the inside, including washing the sunroom windows of cobwebs and dirt so the golf course view can be seen. This place has potential but it isn’t quite ‘there’ yet.

Host was communicative and nice. Outside of property needs some TLC but inside is nice and fresh… comfortable. SmallDetails such as batteries in remote for TV were bad and light in dining area did not work but overall would stay again for sure and would recommend. Good location close to golf and beach.
