We enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable townhouse located right on the 7th hole of the Links course. The beach was just a quick 5-minute walk away, which was a huge plus. Communication with Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals was prompt and easy via text, which we appreciated.That said, we were disappointed to have no internet access during our entire stay. It appeared to be a known issue even before we checked in, but unfortunately, there was no real effort made to resolve it. In today’s world, internet is more of a necessity than a luxury, so this really impacted our experience and brings our rating down to 3 stars.

The place is lovely and a good location within the Wild Dunes Resort. Two things that we experienced was the deck was not clean and I called to have it cleaned up but ended up doing it myself because they took too long to respond. Also, we came home one evening and the AC was not working. The temperature indicated 83 degrees and our place was not cooling down. The top bedroom even hotter. I sent a text twice that evening and then I called first thing in the morning. The rep from Wild Dunes was not the most pleasant and said she would send a technician. That never happened. So our last evening and last day there was quite miserable since the AC was not working and not getting a timely from Wild Dunes was unacceptable.

No Internet/wifi

We stayed at this villa from July 14 thru July 19. From day one we had no internet thus no wifi. We notified the management company right away but they did not offer a solution. Two days later we STILL had no internet so we called management again and this time they sent a technician with a hotspot which gave us some access to the internet but we could not use the tv's because all required streaming services. When i asked for credit for no internet management offerednua 50 dollars and then never followed up with me despite multipletexts. If you rent a golf cart (which we did) be aware there is no way to charge the battery outside the villa. The only outlet is behind the villa and there is no way to access the outlet on the golf cart. The villa itself was fine but bathrooms are dated. Some of the bedroom furniture needs replacing. All in all, our stay was enjoyable but because this particular villa was a bit pricey for the accommodations we would not choose it again.
