Quiet neighborhood; close to stores, restaurants, beaches. Lots of space to spread out, well stocked kitchen. Would stay again.

Family Getaway

We had amazing time and the manager is very helpful and Thank you for letting us stay at the property. House is very big and the pool area is also very big, grate for family gateway the area is very quiet and nice. Very short drive to the ocean. Highly recommended place for rental we will definitely come back soon!

Great quiet location and great neighborhood

Super accessible location to food, gas, groceries, beaches, bike trails and golf. Quiet dead end street and safe walkable neighborhood. Home is large with two master suites and sleeps many. Beautiful pool and spa area. Home is quiet and comfy. Swamp pond area behind pool area hosts lots of wildlife including a daily alligator or two! Pool area could use some updates and repairs but is wonderful for family or couples. The home is large but not a lot of internal gathering spaces for large groups of families because it has many bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms have twin beds. The two others have queen beds. Guest service was amazing and helpful. Home has lots of useful accessories for the beach.

Our recent stay offered a good setup for two families with kids, providing a comfortable sleeping situation and ample towels for both showering and pool use. We appreciated having plenty of plates and silverware, and there was enough seating for all of us during meals. The bathroom conveniently located off the pool was a nice feature, and finding a beach umbrella in the garage was a welcoming bonus. An exciting highlight of our stay was seeing alligators almost daily!Areas for ImprovementHowever, we did encounter a few areas that could use some attention. The kitchen, while adequately stocked with basic items, lacked some of the "bigger" pots and pans needed to easily prepare meals for ten people. The washer seemed to take an unusually long time to complete cycles. One of the master bedrooms had sheer curtains without blinds, which significantly impacted privacy and made it impossible to block the morning sun. Additionally, a van stored in the garage turned on unexpectedly when we were in there. We also found the living room seating to be insufficient for our group of ten. The AC never seemed to make the house cold enough, which was a bit uncomfortable at times especially when sleeping. We noticed the pool area was quite buggy, so we'd recommend bringing insect repellent if you're planning a visit. The candles on the outside table did seem to help when we spread them out.Maintenance IssuesWe experienced a few maintenance issues during our stay. Two fans were not working

Unterer Durchschnitt einige Mängel

Wir haben das Haus auch wegen der angepriesenen Outdoorküche gebucht; diese war total verdreckt (diese sorgte für den Besuch von Kakerlaken) und defekt und somit nicht nutzbar. Der aufgestellte Ersatzgrill war ein Witz und es machte keine Freude ihn zu nutzen. Im Haus war die Sauberkeit eher unterer Durchschnitt; u. a. war das Innere des Ofens eine absolute Zumutung. Zudem hatte das Haus zahlreiche - wenn auch kleinere - Mängel; dazu gehörten u.a. defekte Lampen und Ventilatoren. Um die Stühle im Außenbereich nutzen zu können, mussten wir erste einmal einige der Stühle reparieren. Die Matratzen waren so schlecht, dass man nicht von einem erholsamen Urlaub sprechen konnte; dadurch sind total gerädert abgereist (was ja nicht Ziel eines Urlaubes sein sollte). Die Ausstattung als solches war funktional aber lieblos zusammengewürfelt. Teilweise lagen lose Antennenkabel im Zimmer und Schränke wurden so umfunktioniert, dass sie nicht mehr nutzbar waren. Zu Verstopfungen der Toiletten kam es mehrfach; der Eiswürfelbereiter musste ebenfalls durch uns repariert werden. Um es zusammenzufassen: Das Haus gehört in diesem Zustand nicht vermietet und erste einmal ertüchtigt.

Family vacation

The home was wonderful and very spacious. We loved the pool and spa. It was well worth it to pay extra to heat it. The wildlife in the back yard was a pleasure to see and hear every morning and evening .This was our first time in Rotanda and we loved it so much that we bought property. Love the close proximity to the beaches. We would definitely rent here again.

great property manager and house

Place was spacious and beautiful. Pool heated to 85, and hit tub to 100. Two masters was very nice, and beds very comfortable (not cheap foam). Kitchen had everything, and furniture was very nice. Property manager was very prompt and helpful. LOVED the PLACE !!!

Excellent!!

We stayed for two weeks over christmas holidays, we loved the pool and hot tub. It was close to Boca Grande and Englewood beaches where we spent most of our time. There are a number of golf coarses very close by. The house was clean with plenty of room. Thank you again !!!

The location was excellent. Felt like we had our own private oasis in the middle of a neighborhood community. Wild life out back was fun to watch. We even saw an alligator.

Our stay was absolutely amazing!!!! We loved the private backyard and the wildlife was just amazing to my kids and I. We saw an alligator every night except our last two nights there. It even came up on the bank as we watched in amazement. The house and pool were beautiful and well cared for. We spent most of our days on the beautiful beaches of Gaspirilla Island in Boca Grande!!! We loved how close to the island the house was. The water was so clear and the shells were beautiful. The beaches weren’t crowded at all and it was so nice, relaxing, and peaceful. The house was just what my family and I needed for an amazing week together! Thank you!!!

Awesome home for families

The two masters are a plus and having a 5 bedroom was so handy for our family to all have their own space to get away. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and outdoor kitchen area. Would definitely stay here again.

Best vacation rental

My four sisters and I have rented several vacation homes along the Florida gulf shore. This one is the best by far. Two of our daughters came along this time, so we needed more room. The house is very spacious, with plenty of room for all of us. We spent a lot of time around the backyard pool and hot tub, but also enjoyed days at the various beaches, which are within driving distance. The highlight of our stay was watching the alligators and variety of birds in the pond behind the house. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Backyard Beauty and Wildlife

We enjoyed this home very much as the five bedrooms easily accommodated our family and everyone had some space. The pool, hot tub and lanai area are very nice and were used a lot. The back yard is very private as a result of palm and other trees and bushes surrounding it. About twenty feet from the lanai is a pond/lake with lots of wildlife activity including beautiful birds and an occasional alligator. A beautiful and restful lanai where we had most meals daily. We have been to the Rotonda, FL area before and again confirmed the outstanding beaches, restaurants and golf all around. Boating trips on the Intercoastal Waterway are relaxing and again full of much wildlife with jumping fish, dolphins and lots of birds. We would definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful home. Awesome location.

We absolutely loved the home and the location. The property manager was prompt to reply to any questions or concerns. There was plenty of room for 2 couples and 3 other family members as each had their own bedroom. I will say that the property manager should consider hiring a different cleaning service company. We noticed a lot of things hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The bedding was clean and the bathrooms were clean, but there were a lot of areas that had not been touched. We enjoyed our stay immensely in spite of that and would gladly stay here again.

Great location for biking and wildlife

Had a great time at this property. Daily sightings of birds and alligators in the backyard which the kids loved. Pool and spa heater worked perfect in typical February weather. Property manager was quick to resolve any issues. Special thanks for getting a brand new washer delivered and installed so quickly!! Great biking trails nearby, also was fun to just bike around the neighborhood. Appreciated having the two master suites for extended family. Visited many different beaches in the area as well as state and local parks. Never ran out of things to do!

Florida Careful Vacation

The kitchen had pans and plenty of utensils. We cooked most all of our meals and there was enough table space & chairs for our family of 6. (More chairs still available) plus a very nice breakfast counter! There was a coffee maker but not a kurig. We brought a small one from home. The beds were comfortable, I’d describe as being a softer mattress. Plenty of pillows and towels. Having two master suites on opposite ends of the house was great! Pool and hot tub were fantastic! We enjoyed that space all day and evening. The view to the back was pure Florida nature. No houses. We saw huge birds daily and an alligator. 15 minutes to beaches, groceries and restaurants. A very nice property and location. The management (Leslie) was easy to connect with and very helpful with our questions.
