Holiday Isle Harbor Front Vacation Retreat with boat dock and beautiful upgrades | Destin Sands 102 “Shore Thing”

If you are looking for a peaceful and serene beach and boating Emerald Coast vacation, you have found the place! The views of the Harbor are to die for and so much more amazing, peaceful, and magical in real life! Sit and relax and watch the boats pass by! It's so easy to walk down to the first come - first served boat dock. The Holiday Isle beaches are pristine and feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Destin. And we have several fantastic restaurants from casual to fine dining right on Holiday Isle like The Local Market, LaPaz, Bric Brac, Capriccio Café, and Louisiana Lagniappe!

“Shore Thing” Highlights:
- Harbor front condo with large balcony to soak in the views – watch the birds, boats, and dolphins!
- Call the Destin Water Taxi for pick up at our dock and be transported by boat to and from your favorite Harbor restaurants, bars, and activities. The Harbor has many events and fireworks every Thursday during the summer!
- Schedule a fun trip with Cruisin’ Tikis – your floating tiki bar for a Crab Island tour, Sunset Cruise, or a Harbor Tour
- Visit Harborwalk Village with multiple restaurants, bars, food trucks, fishing tours, boat rentals, zip line and many live events and fireworks shows
- Sleeps up to 6 guests
- TWO king sized bedrooms both with remodeled and spa-like bathrooms
- Living room sleeper sofa
- Updated and fully stocked kitchen with gorgeous stone counters
- Large, fully sized laundry room where we leave a beach cart and cooler for our guests to use!
- We are located on the 2nd floor and stairs are required to reach our condo – no elevator

- Our kitchen is fully stocked and equipped with all quality items for meals at home or on the balcony!

- Dining space with table and 4 chairs for the entire family to enjoy beach meals together

BEACH
-The nearest beach access point is the O’Steen access located off Gulf Shore Drive. Limited paid street parking is available via the Passport app. You will have to walk through a stretch of sand to reach the beach – you are surrounded by the East Pass jetties and it is a spectacular beach!
- Other nearby beach access points:
1. June White Decker – free access and free parking (located by the Back Porch restaurant)
2. Henderson Beach State Parking – fee per car open sunrise to sunset. The most spectacular, unspoiled beach in Destin! There are covered pavilions with picnic tables, grills, and restrooms.
3. James Lee Park – is a large public beach with free parking. Arrive early during the season for a space. You can rent chairs + umbrellas and walk to the Crab Trap for meals and drinks.

BOAT
- Your reservation includes access to an onsite boat dock which is first come first served for 1 boat up to 32'. Guests must register their vessel in advance with our building Dock Master and provide proof of insurance of at least $100,000 liability and $500,000 environmental to moor at Destin Sands. No electricity is available for overnight charging or shore power. Water is available for rinsing boats. If you do not submit the required documents with 48 hour notice, you cannot moor at the dock.
- Wave runners are only allowed to use the Jet Ski Dry Dock on the beach or anchor in shallow water.
- Launch your boat at Destin Marina for a fee
- You can store your trailer at the Marina free of charge for the day. If you need overnight dry storage for your trailer, we will recommend and provide contact info for the dry storage at the Marina which charges $40/day and has weekly rates as well. Reserve in advance as these storage spaces book up quickly!

DESTIN SANDS
- Located on stunning, low-density Holiday Isle with close proximity to many great shops and restaurants and pontoon rentals, fishing charters, wave runners, and parasailing! (Nearby restaurants include Louisiana Lagniappe, LaPaz, Local Market, Bric a Brac, Capriccio Cafe, Pancakery, Café Destin, and Mimmos Italian to name a few!)
- Located so close to Target, Winn Dixie, and WalMart for groceries – new Publix under construction nearby and opening in 2024
- Please note we do not have a pool.
- Our great location is just 3 miles to Harborwalk (by car), 1 mile to Big Kahunas Waterpark, 1.8 miles to The Track Amusement Park, and 4.4 miles to Destin Commons
- You can buy daily passes to the Destin Aquatic Center for 25/day/family for use of their pool and splash pad - lower rates available for multiple day passes

- Freshly laundered white linens, and fluffy white towels
- Hair dryer and iron/board
- Full size washer and dryer in the condo
- We provide starter supplies of toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs, and trash bags. Once this supply runs out, you will need to purchase additional supplies.
- Home does not have cable - TV's are SMART for streaming

- Parking for 2 vehicles only – not boat or trailer parking in our lot
- Free WiFi (not responsible for service disruptions)
- PET FREE PROPERTY - Per the signed Rental Agreement, any violation of the NO PET policy will result in immediate eviction, plus additional cleaning charges. Emotional Support Animals are not required to be allowed by law in vacation rentals.
- Our condo is professionally cleaned and sanitized in between each guest – book with confidence!

THE FINE PRINT

• Minimum Age: This property requires a minimum of one adult over the age of 25 stay at the property throughout the entire rental term. The primary guest is responsible for all additional guests.
• Pet Free Property - Per the signed Rental Agreement, any violation of the NO PET policy will result in immediate eviction, plus additional cleaning charges. Our building does not allow guest pets and Emotional Support Animals are not required to be allowed by law in vacation rentals.
• All reservations include a mandatory rental agreement to finalize your reservation that must be signed within 48 hours. All your arrival information will be included in this information for an easy and organized vacation experience!
• CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 4:00 PM and CHECK-OUT IS BY 10:00 AM. You will be notified automatically on arrival day if the property is available for early arrival – fees may apply.
• Easy self-check-in is available via the keypad on the front door - a personalized code will be in your arrival instructions at check in time.
• Every reservation includes an accidental damage waiver for separate purchase or a security deposit hold – should any accidental damage occur during your stay, simply notify us as soon as you can and provide a photo. We will file the damage waiver and replace/repair before the next rental guests arrive!
• We offer optional post booking travel insurance to protect your vacation investment – this will include trip cancellations and delays, medical conditions, hurricanes, and much more.
• No smoking/vaping/drugs/firearms allowed in our condo or on the balcony
• Max number of guests includes guests of all ages including infants/children to comply with our vacation rental permit, HOA laws, and local fire code laws. Exceeding the guest count is grounds for immediate eviction with no refund.
• All guests booking through the Airbnb booking platform will be required to upload a valid ID for check-in purposes.
• If you plan to moor your boat on the dock, you must submit your required paperwork at least 1 week before arrival.

*Departure instructions: We don't believe in long chore lists for our guests - you are here to relax! All we ask is that our guests remove all trash and food and start the dishwasher with any remaining dishes. This small list allows our professional housekeeping team to clean and sanitize the condo during our short rental turn in time for our next guests. We appreciate you!

*VRBO will charge their site fee separately - our charges will be on your statement from Beach Stays Vacations.

Great Location

Very good location especially if bringing a boat they have a dock to pull right up too. The process was very easy and the place is very neat and clean!! Would definitely go back!!
