Great location that was very central and close to everything on the island. The condo had all the amenities that we needed. The complex grounds were very well kept. We used the onsite bbq’s every night. The pool and hot tub were nice for a soak after a long day in Maui.

Perfect Property for Relaxing Stay

The condo was great!! It was clean, and the ocean view was beautiful. It was everything it claims to be!! The low rating has nothing to do with the condo. We were there during the Kona low storm. We were without power for 2 days and stuck inside because the road was blocked and flooded. Our host never checked in with us to offer any help or assistance. We understand everyone was in an emergency situation, but as a guest, we would have appreciated a check in.

We certainly understand how difficult and stressful the Kona storm was, and we’re very thankful to hear that you were safe. That was an extremely challenging time for the entire island. We were surprised to receive your feedback regarding communication, as our team did reach out on the 13th, the day of the storm, and again on the 14th and 15th. We do recognize that communication may have felt limited, as internet and cell service were down intermittently across the island during that time. We’re glad we were able to assist by extending your stay by two additional nights due to your flight cancellation on the 14th, and we truly appreciate your understanding during such an unprecedented situation. Great condo with one exception

Sugar Beach Resort is wonderful. Love the location, the pool, the beach... It's great. Our condo was wonderful as well, except for the bathroom. It's in serious need of upgrade (specifically the shower). It's old, the shower head isn't great, and the sliding door is in terrible shape. Besides that, everything else in the condo was great. We'll definitely be back to Sugar Beach.

Excellent Vrbo

Everything was fantastic. Everything was provided and location was great. Only complaint I have is the beach chairs need to be replaced. Straps broken and looking old and had some stains. Also dryer vent was in the shower in ceiling and when dryer was going lint was everywhere. Need to clean the air duct. Major fire hazard. Also would have been nice to have ice packs in freezer for the cooler. Shower needs to be updated and cleaned a little better. Felt and looked old and dated. Other than that everything was fantastic.
