Welcome to the highly-rated "Current View Cottage" in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This 1950's cottage, adorned with original charm, also offers modern conveniences. As a semi-oceanfront property, it boasts unmatched views of the ocean from the newly constructed deck, complete with hot tub, and from all windows facing the ocean. This makes it a prime vacation rental for those appreciating character, charm, and comfort.

The main level includes living room, dining area, laundry room, and well equipped kitchen with seaglass-style countertops, bar sink, and wine refrigerator. The first floor also features a Master bedroom with a king bed, a wall-mounted TV, two full bathrooms, and a Bunk Room that sleeps four with a Smart TV. The upper level boasts two bedrooms, one king and the other with a queen bed, as well as a half bath. LINENS AND BATH TOWELS ARE PROVIDED for your convenience.

Beat the heat with our ground level outdoor seating area with sofa, table, chairs, picnic table, and outdoor shower with hot and cold water. A utility closet houses beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, bikes, corn hole boards, beach toys, and a large beach cart for easy transportation to the beach.

Extras include: Beverage refrigerator, Keurig, and regular coffee maker, air fryer, coffee grinder, waffle maker, wi-fi throughout house, high chair, pack and play, bed linens, hair dryers in all bathrooms, starter package and few extra special treats for our guests!

loved the location. It was an easy drive north to Corolla one day and south to Hatteras another day. This house is in a fairly busy part of the outer banks. Although beach itself was not busy at all! Loved our stay and exploring this coast. Hosts were great, house was great! Our week was fairly chilly so we loved having the hot tub!?

The cottage was everything we hoped for and more for our family vacation. It was very clean, the kitchen was more than adequately stocked. The cottage is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There was adequate seating for our group of nine. The hot tub was clean and no problems. The host was very responsive to any questions and/or communications we had and her instructions were clear and specific throughout our booking, check-in and check-out. The cottage was centrally located for our activities. Beach access is very easy from the cottage. I would definitely return to this property. May, 2026

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time in this home. The fully stocked kitchen made everything so easy, and we appreciated having access to the bikes and beach chairs. The hot tub was a great bonus after long days out. The layout of the house was perfect for privacy, and we loved the charm and character of the unique older home. The sand kitchen was a big hit and got lots of use during our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and we would happily return!

Amazing home in amazing location. Full of ocean views and less than a 1 minute walk to relaxing on the beach.We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on the huge front deck. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time with our two families of four. They had all the beach equipment you would ever need... and toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, skim boards, and a wagon to haul it all right across the street. Communication with David and Kerry was quick and easy! Can't wait to visit again.

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times now (I think this was our third or fourth visit), and it continues to be one of our favorite places to stay. Every time we come back, it feels just as special.The owners are always incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to work with, which makes the entire experience smooth from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the property.The view is absolutely amazing—one of the best parts of staying here. It never gets old, no matter how many times we visit.This trip, we also noticed some updates to the decor and furniture, including larger beds, which were such a nice bonus and made the stay even more comfortable.We truly love this place and will absolutely be back again!

We had a very nice stay at the cottage. The house had plenty of beach cottage charm and came with useful house goodies. It felt clean, had all we needed (dishes, glasses, board games, sand toys) and everyone said the beds slept comfortably. Hot tub kept the kids plenty busy as we landed on a cold, windy spring break week. We were hopeful for a grill but using the park style charcoal grill would have been impossible with the wind. The sleeping setup was perfect for our family as the bunks can be joined with another room and all the adults were upstairs. With that windy week we got to relax with coffee and the house has good views of the ocean that made us very happy. We would definitely return to this house and all had a great visit.

The house was exactly as it was shown, the owners very helpful and responsive. The location was perfect, close to so many fun things to see and do. The closeness to the beach and use of the beach chairs wagon and toys was so appreciated.

David and Kerry were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and were there to answer any questions we may have had. I highly recommend Current View Cottage. Beautiful location with water views. The cottage was comfortable, clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the cookware/bakeware/appliances that you could need. The hosts were so kind and always timely with responding to messages. Great time, great cottage

Location was great - the beach was right across the street! The house had everything we needed and the hosts were super helpful and responsive.

The location was great. Our stay In the downstairs bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen was very nice and well-stocked. The other couple thought the upstairs bed was uncomfortable. (Owners said the mattresses upstairs are going to be replaced.) Also, it was difficult to have to come downstairs to take a shower, if staying upstairs. The home was clean and comfy. Great communication with owners!

The hot tub was fabulous. It was clean and went to the perfect temperature. Great for our windy and chilly October stay! Our hosts kept in contact with us during the entire stay. Rooms were cozy, cottage like and very clean. The laundry worked great with no problems. My older daughter and her husband commented on how much they liked it versus a huge house on the beach and the walk was not far to go onto the beach although the red flags meant no swimming.
