This Old House - 10 Minute Walk to the Falls

Located in downtown Niagara Falls New York, close to the Falls, the Casino and the 3rd Street Entertainment District. A quick walk to all. House is spacious with plenty of room to spread out.
It is a 3-story side by side duplex and you will have one side to yourselves. The house is over a 100 years old and was abandoned for decades. We have spent the last 6 years bringing it back to life to share with you. We are permitted and meet all health and safety standards required by the City.

This was our first time staying at a vacation rental, and the experience couldn't have been better. This house was perfectly located; walkable from all the important points in Niagara Falls, yet just outside the crowded parts that it was quiet and pleasant. It was also within walkable distance from grocery stores, multiple restaurants, and the Canadian border (should you get the urge to escape north). The hostess, Carroll, was excellent. She was pleasant, and accommodating of a special request from us. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was well furnished, and the kitchen well arranged. Highly recommended.

The property was as advertised. Our family enjoyed our stay. The property manager was great! We loved that we could walk to the falls.

Simply wonderful

If you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and old-world-style neighbourly place to stay while visiting the magnificent Niagara Falls… this is the place! This old home (think British type “row house”, but in this case only two of them) has been tastefully redecorated in a more contemporary style. Within walking distance of the Falls, great restaurants, and downtown shopping.

Carroll spent most of her career in Human Resources but gave it all up to open a hostel in Niagara Falls- leaving the wonderful California weather behind but gaining a wonderful husband. Andre is from Germany and we found each other here! We have since expanded from the hostel and added a few vacation rentals to our endeavors. We think they are a great alternative to a sterile hotel - more like home away from home.

Over the last several years, we have purchased several homes and brought them back to life. When Andre saw this one on the market, we thought long and hard about it since it needed a lot of work. But could not let it go. It is a beautiful old home in a fabulous location near the Falls. Six years later - we have finally completed both sides. This is an area undergoing revitalization and we are thrilled to be a part of it.

We are fully permitted and certified by the City of Niagara Falls that we meet all building and fire codes required to operate a vacation rental. Many listings in Niagara Falls are not legal, so be careful. Keep your family safe and be sure to book with those operators that can show you their permit and certificate of occupancy.
