Summary:

Renovated 4 bed 3 bath home in the heart Wicker Park. PRIVATE FREE PARKING! Incredible backyard with outdoor kitchen and gas fire pit. There is no better location than this, just a few steps from all that Wicker Park and Bucktown have to offer. Just a few hundred feet from Collectivo Coffee Shop and the countless restaurants and shops and attractions that the area has to offer. Also a very quick walk to the blue line train (goes west to O'Hare International Airport, east to Downtown Chicago).



The Space:

You will be renting the entire single family home, there are no adjoining units! There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms:



1st floor : 1 full bathroom with shower/tub combo

2nd floor : 2 private bedrooms, each with a king bed. 1 full bathroom with stand up shower

3rd floor : 2 private bedrooms: 1 with two double beds and 1 XL twin. 1 with 1 double bed and 1 XL twin. 1 full bathroom with shower/tub combo



The entire fenced in back yard is your private oasis to enjoy!



There is a parking pad in the rear of the home that can fit at least 2 vehicles and has a private gated entry into the back yard and back door to the home.



Guest Access:

The entire home, back yard, and private parking area will be available only to you during your stay. Truly a private oasis in the perfect location in the city, and you have it all to yourself!



The Neighborhood:

Located in vibrant Wicker Park, you're steps from trendy cafes, top-rated restaurants, unique boutiques, and lively nightlife. Easy access to downtown via the Blue Line or a quick drive. Explore nearby parks, galleries, and music venues. A perfect spot for foodies, creatives, and city explorers alike!



Getting Around:

Located in Chicago’s vibrant Wicker Park, 1235 N Damen offers easy access to the Blue Line ‘L’ train—just steps away—getting you downtown or to O’Hare in minutes. Walk to trendy shops, cafes, and nightlife. Great for Airbnb guests without a car; bike lanes, Divvy stations, and rideshares are all nearby. Urban, walkable, and super convenient for exploring Chicago.



Other Things to Note:

**The backyard amenities (BBQ grill, gas firepit, seating areas) are winterized by November 15th and are not reopened until April 15th**



Please note that this house is right in the heart of Wicker Park, on the main road which makes it absolutely ideal for walkability and for enjoyment of the many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, retail stores, art studios etc. nearby. However, since it is right in the city, there is city noise and plenty of traffic and hustle and bustle. We want to make sure guests know this prior to booking.

Great location, incredible space

Spent the weekend with some friends in the wicker park house. We walked out the door and were right at the restaurants and bars on Division almost immediately. Perfect spot for getting out and the house still stayed pretty quiet at night. The backyard was incredible and there was plenty of space for 8 of us! Beds were firm and comfortable.

Exceptionally clean, beautiful home right in Wicker Park! We had a large group stay and the accommodations were lovely. Plenty of room, comfortable, clean and communication was easy, clear, and timely. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely stay there again. Beautiful throughout!

Walking distance to the best pastries you will ever eat (Mindys) and the best Ramen you will ever eat (Oii Star). Walking distance to the best line (Blue Line). Place was great, location was great!

Urban oasis

A Lovely, comfortable home, well-situated off of Division. Only a few minutes walk to coffee houses, restaurants, bars, and shops, and the L. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms and closets spacious. The layout of the home is fun with its spiral staircase. The backyard is an added treat with nice sized grill, seating areas and lights. The kitchen is stocked well with anything needed to bake or cook. Yet it is missing the basics food stuffs; sugar, olive oil or spices. Lastly, the property manager was attentive in time of need.

Girls Weekend in Wicker Park Wonderland

We had an amazing time at this Wicker Park VRBO. We had 7 ladies stay and there was plenty of room. The property is very nice! The backyard is amazing and I wish we had more time to spend there but since the location is amazing we were busy with everything around us. You are very close to a local coffee shop and liquor store. Also there are Of restaurants to choose from and bars too. There is even a Target not far away and everything is in walking distance. The coffee shop is so handy and the expresso drinks and food there is great! We felt safe the entire time too! We had plenty of cozy seating for all of us gals to relax on and catch up and a big table as well (things we look for when booking our group of 7) We had an amazing time and the owners are very responsive. We couldn’t get an early check in which was fine but they accommodated our luggage so that we could be free to explore the area and sit down to a nice lunch until our check in time. This is huge for us as we don’t like arriving late. You can’t go wrong with this property.

Chicago Family Trip

Our stay was amazing! We have a large family and it’s often hard to fit us all. This house was perfect for us. It’s in a great neighborhood close to many restaurants and shops and most importantly has a coffee shop next-door. Couldn’t ask for a better location, it was 10 minutes from the Navy pier, 5 minutes to Lincoln Park and we were able to get around the city quickly. I would definitely stay here again. The host was great in communication, checked on us many times. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The younger kids loved the toy store just around the corner. Can’t wait to return to Chicago!
