Adorable 3rd floor unit in amazing neighborhood. Our group of 5 adults were very comfortable. The owner was incredibly responsive and accommodating; a really great host. The train run behinds the unit and she made sure we knew this when booking, the noise didn’t bother us at all. I’d definitely stay here again / highly recommend!

This is a BEAUTIFUL space to stay in Chicago! My family came to Chicago with me to try on wedding dresses and I got so many compliments on the space. There was great food a two minute walk away, including Kanela Breakfast Club. The hosts were so welcoming, and I appreciate the bowls of ear plugs, as the subway runs behind the building (we didn't mind at all). Only words of caution: I was not aware the loft is on the third floor of the building, and my mom has severe asthma. We got her up the stairs but it was a bit of struggle. Parking is also behind the building and a little tight, so if you bring a car make sure it's a small one! Absolutely beautiful and cozy spot. Would stay again!

Wanted to love this place because it’s so cute, a lot of things done right but the host is just ok. They’re claiming family owned but it felt like canned responses from a management company. Pros: location, lovely interior design, comfy beds, nice layout, good AC, good shower pressure Cons: host. There were a few hiccups with missing bedsheets and smart locks not working which the host and I worked out amicably, and I would have been fine with that but we were playing music 20 minutes into quiet hours (10:20pm) the music was not that loud and I got angry messages saying there was a noise complaint and that I has extra people over and was throwing a party, none of which was true. Ruined my night and overall experience. There’s no need to communicate like this especially if this business is being run by a family. If you stay here beware that they are overly strict on noise and will treat you poorly even when you’ve been nothing but understanding about their own issues.

We do want to address the noise concern directly, since it’s the core of your review. Quiet hours begin at 10pm, and we received a documented noise complaint from neighbors along with video evidence showing loud music playing after that time. Our outreach to you was based on that documentation, not assumptions. As a residential property in a shared neighborhood, we take noise complaints seriously because they affect our relationship with neighbors and our ability to continue operating. We did work with you in good faith on the bedsheet and smart lock issues, and we appreciate your patience with those. We hold the same standard for quiet hours as we do for our own responsiveness: clear communication based on facts.
