The apartment was good overall.
We had to communicate with the manager over WhatsApp and were left in the dark for check-in until about 12 hours before we arrived. The managers do not use Vrbo to communicate, you have to message them on WhatsApp before you can figure out how to begin the check-in process. Was honestly a bit frustrating, but once we figured it out, they were quick to reply, with videos and information for getting keys. Very sweet people, just no obvious way of knowing any information before messaging them on WhatsApp.
To get into the Vrbo you will have to unlock many doors and go upstairs.
During Spring break this place can be loud outside where bars and restaurants are open late into the night.
A fabulous pizza and pasta place is located only a minute's walk away PLUS you can learn how to make pasta there, so HUGE bonus! A coffee shop is on the opposite side of the block, packed with people and great coffee overlooking the river. Very nice addition to the morning routine.
The apartment has all the little things you would need for your stay including a washer and drying rack for your clothes.
I personally loved the humbleness of the apartment, and how genuine of an experience it is to live in Florence by staying at this place.
